When I was a child, I didn't buy clothes for myself. My mother helped me choosing and buying them.
She still did that thing until I became the first year student.
In fact, I'm not interested in clothes more. I only like to study and working.
So I wear any ones which my mother bought.
How about you? What is your attitude with fashion when you was a child?

Fashion doesn't really mean that much to me. I just buy whatever is on sale. I think fashion is for people who think they have to pay an excessive amount of money for clothes, shoes and purses etc. to look important. I'm not out to impress anyone.
My mom as help be buy clothes also. I hated her taste. So I started doing odd jobs at a young age. That allowed me to buy my own clothes etc. Best Wishes!

I'm too. I'm not interested in clothes much. I wear them because it's a necessary need. Fashion is not my favorite.

I really hate wearing shoes. I don't mind the socks. But as soon as I get home I take my shoes off.

i WILL BUY MY OWN WHEN I NEED TO .I just don't like to shop. I have always had to do everything for myself & i wouldn't want it to be any other way as long as i can do it i will.

Clothes are only clothes. Right? I have never depended on them. I wear them if I feel comfortable. If I feel not, I'll change others.

I hated to go school clothes shopping as a child. My mother and I never liked the same clothing. My choice was often not her choice. She was the parent and I was the child so i had to grin and bear it and wear what clothing my parents bought for me. I could not wait to make my fashion decisions for myself.

You shouldn't grin this. You can talk to your mother. Right? You and her can have some agreement about this. I don't think this is a big problem.

Hi tkonlinevn: As many children, I don't like that people buy me clothes.. I prefer games and actually when it was my birthday I feel disappointed when I receive clothes as a gift. I prefer toys

Like others, my mom was the one who always decide on what to wear when I was a kid. She didn't just decide, she also taught me some of the tips when buying clothes. For me it's okay, because I believed that mothers know best.
I grew up, and I still hold the tips she taught me. :)

I wore all clothes which were bought by my mum. But when I grew up, I feel that I depend on her quite much while I choose clothes for me. I think this is not good. I want to choose clothes following my style.

As a child I did not have a choice as to what I wanted to wear, I was simply brought clothes home for me to wear and had no say so. When I became a freshmen in high school, I got a full time job at night and there on I began to buy my own clothes.
I did not have a fashion taste or sense as a child so whatever came my way I wore. But again as soon as I got a job I was able to express my sense of style with clothing.

It's great. When you have money, you can buy clothes following your style. So, you begun buying them. I love this. I think that I'm too. I think I didn't have many request with my mother when I was a child because I realize that she worked hark to feed me.

Like the hundreds of kids, my mom chose clothes i wear when I was a kid. Fortunately, my mother had good taste and I somehow imbibed this taste. Now I am considered fashionable by friends and acquaintances. But actually, what is fashionable in me is my use of accessories and simple lines in clothes. I love clothes that are simple in cut and I collect accessories.

my mom used to buy me clothes but usually my older sisters would just give me their old clothes. i wasn't really that picky. i wear whatever is comfortable and whatever there is that i can see and just grab easily. but while we grow older, my sisters got bigger, they gained so much weight and we can't share clothes anymore. i am so skinny and so now i just buy my own clothes. i became more conscious in the way i dress. but i remember when i was small i never wanted to wear jeans. i only wanted to wear shorts. but of course it shouldn't always be like that. and now i can see why i have so many pair of short shorts
