Hello fellow myLotters!
Just wondering what everyone's take on 2012 is or more specifically December, 21, 2012; the day of the winter solstice or the day of the year when earth is closest to the sun.
I personally don't think anything will happen just because the Mayan's calendar ends on this day. From what i have heard, they predicted the sun would explode and destroy the earth. While many people interpret this as possibly the sun could release a huge solar flare that would wipe out all technology or basically cook us all. Basically most people think the former is very possible though because it is the day the sun is closest to earth.
I'm not a scientist or astrophysicist or even that smart (just kidding) but I just don't think any of this will happen.
If anything is gonna happen that day though, it will be the say when earth gets invaded by aliens finally and they decide what to do with us or maybe enlighten us on our true existence. I mean it's gotta be this because how else were the pyramids built and the whole Mayan civilization so advanced.... lol. conspiracies.
Jokes aside, what are your opinions? Oh and I will totally laugh if the last thing I said actually happens, but probably not really because that would be terrifying.

One blessed thing will happen on that day. People will stop posting repeats discussions about it. Not the end of the world but the end of these repeats.

Like I said, trolling! you are correct that I should do that but I didn't before I made the topic. I did however see some of the other topics after I tagged the discussion and didn't see any that went into the detail and specifics I did. So don't generalize me with other topics just because the title because I'm guessing you didn't even read what I posted. Now will you please get off my discussion if you don't have anything to add that will further the conversation? thank you.

people think the world is gonna end for any reason the 666 thing a few years ago and bunch of other stuff animal will warn when something heavy comes our way and that is when we will know and stuff

As for me ,I even don't know what will happen to me tomorrow.Therefore ,I won't think too much about the world .When some globe accident takes place ,there 's little we ordinary person could do .For example , after the nuclear leakage ,many of the provinces have reported that the air was pulloted ,though we are far away from Japan.We find that we could do nothing but believe what our government has told us .So if disaster of 2012,which appeared in movies,happened ,we might have to face it ,or just listen to our "leaders".But only God knows what our "leaders"would act before the globe disater.Maybe ,what we should do now is that we should just lead our happy life .

many people think it will be the end of the world from what i've heard. but i personally don't think so. we are not God, we don't have visions of the future. we can never tell what will happen on that day. we can never tell it is the end of the world. life will not end on that day, it will continue and continue and only God can tell times. c:
