As per advice of our guru

I and my wife Kalyani have started chanting the following mantra daily, I do even while working in computer, the lips keeps uttering.
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare
I also chant the following in praise of Lord Hanuman, once early morning and next before going to bed, I keep uttering and soon fall asleep. Lord Hanuman, the greatest devotee of Lord Rama. Lord Hanuman is also called Mahaveera (the great hero) or Pavan-suta (son of air) or Bajrangbali. He is a noble hero in Hinduism who symbolizes the pinnacle of devotion (Bhakti) and selfless service, provider of knowledge, courage, hope and devotion. Worship of Lord Hanuman symbolizes in our individual life "The Pursuit of Excellence".
If you have true devotion then Lord Hanuman will fulfill even your most impossible desires.
Here it is:
Sarva kalyana thaatharam sarvaapadhgana vaarakam|
Apara karuna murthim anjaneyam namamyaham ||
The meaning is:
Hey Anjaneya (Hanuman)! Who is the giver of all good things, who protect from all adversaries, who is the repository of immeasurable love and compassion; I pay my obeisance to you.
I am sure I will get blessings of Lord Krishna; Lord Hanuman, my burning soles may feel better slowly.
I am taking my medicines regularly.
Please share your opinion on this story of mine.
Do you believe, prayers work, help us?

I certainly do believe in the power of prayer. I've known some situations in my life where prayer has helped people to heal. Then I also know that there are times that prayers for people that are struggling with their lives are able to deal better when there are other people that are praying for them. Finally, I think our own prayer can make us feel better when we personally have something that we are struggling with.

I have no words to praise and to express the importance of this (nane or sankirtan) sutra and guru (spiritual teacher)..I can just say that love this sutra (name or sankirtan) as much as possible. Hare krishna, hare krishna, krishna krishna, hare hare, hare ram hare ram, ram ram, hare hare...AND its also important to have guru. ALWAYS Follow and have faith in guru (spiritual teacher)

I think prayers reinforce our beliefs in God. Praying makes us believe that there's something almighty up there that'll help us in times of needs. It had been a while since I've attended a Sunday mass but I guess next time would be a great time. I think God misses me too much now.
