Often what I think turns out to be different than what does happen!

Often when I think I will make 2 mylot disscussions and comment on all the responses it gets to be quiet hard work and I think if these keep coming I wouldn't be able to respond to any more disscussions but after a few days they stop and I start more disscussion. It's just that I'm not normal right and with other stuff too.
Like dreading something like I don't know presenting a project for school because you have to stand in front of your class and talk about it but it's not actually bad at all.
It's just I dread many things but they don't come out bad at all. Like I'm making a mountain out of a molehill.
Does this happen to you guys??

You may be scared or may have seemed confused whether to do something or not. It's really up to you. If you think you can handle any given situation wholeheartedly either making big decisions at school for a particular project or just by starting a simple discussion here at mylot, then always go for it. As young as you are, risks are what you need but always be cautious as well. Well good luck on mylotting. Just have fun. This place should help you take away your worries and not the other way around.

I think I have worded this disscussions wrong. I am not afraid in started mylot disscussions but just think that things don't turn out the way I want them too. There is just loads of responses well 24 on some of my mylot disscussions and take a while to comment on all the responses. It just hard to start disscussions and comment on all the responses. I am in no way scared.

I see. The thing that you need to keep in mind when starting a discussion then is to see where it goes. You don't have to comment on all the responses. Just the responses that catch your attention would be enough. Or if you can't still seem to find it in you to respond to any of those discussions, might as well rate them. That way, you can at least show that you care enough to read other people's responses as they cared enough to respond to your discussions.

Morning Kate!
It is such a long time since I was at school that I can't really remember that sensation any more but no doubt I had it too.
I used to dread having to do something 'important' when I was younger but now I have overcome this kind of 'fear' because when you do something like that it can only have one of two results: it will either go well or it won't. Once it is over, all the worrying will have served no purpose (except to cause a few more grey hairs ).
Are you referring to starting a topic here? If you are then don't worry! MyLot should be fun and we are not facing any exam here so just join in and if you start a new topic, it will either be a successful one or it won't - but worrying about it is not going to change the outcome at all

Yes I know after you do something you think what was that worry for and then the next time you worry again but in the end all your time worrying was wasted. I'm not scared of starting mylot disscussion. It's just sometimes I don't feel like I can handle all the responses. I love making mylot disscussions

This is so True. Because in general usually people are actively responding back more to your New discussions the first day or two, so spreading them out like this can make it much easier to be able to respond back to them as well. Also I have wondered how so many times I will see people starting a ton of discussions while never taking time to ever respond back. Lately this is the main reason I start one is so I can gain New advice and hear from some of my many friends on here as well.
