Being Lucky in raffle ticket prizes... and being the not so lucky one...

It is all probably just a big coincidence, I think. Back when I was in college, I have had more than a few friends who told me that I'm lucky. (passed exams even without studying much hehe) Anyway, after that my "luck" just seemed to have lost its luster. I still have my luck sometimes though not always the 'good' kind. However, I do get to land on small prizes from local supermarkets every now and then but nothing really big. Not yet. It'll be really cool if ever that happens. Hang in there, Chiyo. Your chance to win something, anything, might just be around the corner Or you could always go to plan B: buy soap dish and mail to self. Act surprised upon receiving mail. Haha!

In the context of lottery, raffle promo...YES! I do believe there are people who are lucky. Sometimes, I want to be in their place!:) But of course, you won't really win unless you join the raffle or you buy lottery tickets. I guess, the winning itself,it's something that cannot be explained. I'm not really the lucky type but I'd rather have my luck in terms of passing difficult exams and terrifying professors.:)

I dont think the 'born lucky' concept really exist, well not for me atleast. I believe its all about Karma and there is always a balance of things that you gain, like you may not be lucky winning a lottery but stuffs you do gain by other means, you just have to keep your eyes open to notice it.

I believe it is a person's luck and fate that he always win in raffle draws. I have only won on raffle draw in all of my life though I don't lose hope that the stars will bring me luck next time. I guess, it it also the matter of attracting good vibes and thinking positive that I will get to pull luck into my side.

I have won a few small things in raffles over the years as well as a small amount on the lottery, but nothing really big, if anything the raffle tickets cost me more than the prize i had won,lol.My friend is lucky, as she is always winning on bingo, she won yesterday over £260, i am really happy for her, i am now playing the bingo as well in hope that i will win, as she is always winning each month about £30 and this is on free bingo,lol.

I bet most of us have heard about someone out there who gets to win the lottery not once but twice or even three times. I also have co-workers who won so many times the big prizes in company dinner parties that people would joke about keeping him/her out of the game to give a chance for others. Also, such person, may not necessary have the same luck when in lottery draws. It seems that their luck can only be extended to a certain amount of benefits. Well, I can only say that I am like you. I never even win the table prize. Gee, why me?

I will admit that there are some people that I think are inheriently lucky in games of chance and stuff like that. But having known some of these people, I am not sure that I would to have their luck, for the rest of their lives tend to be train wrecks. They remind of the old saying "Unlucky in love, lucky at cards." I much prefer having a different type of luck---the type that allows one to find items cheap that are actually worth a lot more than what one paid for them.

Luck most certainly evades me. I have played the lottery several times in my life time, and I amost certainly not a millionaire.lol. I have played bingo and one little prizes and what not but nothing ever major. I think that it is purely what the word is "luck". It is just how the dice is rolled. You win some you lose some, but most of the time it is lose some. :) I don't think people are born lucky, I think it is just a matter of circumstance, and being at the right place at the right time. I sure wish I knew those right times though. :)

I have similar observations in my workplace but I dont really believe that there is such concept. Probably it is just about the mentality or thinking one has. I may sound cheesy and all but it is a matter of belief that you can actually win. Otherwise, there is a way of balancing all the 'luck' other people are having. In an office party I attended last Christmas, one of my colleagues actually won an iPhone4, just like that, but til now she's been praying hard to have children and she hasnt succeeded yet. Point is, everybody gets a share of luck. :)
