so when it comes to shopping what do you think is the better way to shop online or in the stores? why do you think that's better? personally for me i think that shopping online is better, because you seem to find better deals on things then in the stores. another reason is that you don't have to drive to different stores, just to find out that you could have gotten it cheaper some where else. I've found things online that were cheaper then in the stores, plus i get it shipped to me so i don't have to go out and buy it in a store. so what are your experience with shopping? thanks to those who responded to this discussion. keep on mylotting.

If it's for clothes I like being in a store and trying them on.....anything else I like to buy online like my stamping supplies etc. Alot of time there is free shipping too....

i have to agree with you on that, clothes are the only thing that one would have to be in a store to buy. the last thing that you would want is to order something just to find out if doesn't fit. the last thing any body likes to do is return some thing that they bought online, its not like you can just show your receipt and get your money back that day. that's the one thing about shopping online that i don't like. i don't like waiting to get money back for something that I'm returning. well thanks again for responding and giving your view on shopping.

My first experience on shopping online was not good. I bought some clothes online and they didn't appear what they should have looked online. I was frustrated, luckily I was able to resell the clothes. Lately, an office mate showed me a site where you can get good deals for services and I think it is great. I still need to make a purchase though. Currently, I still want to purchase in store. So I can really inspect the items I am buying.

If I lived somewhere that was rural then I would see the point in ordering things online. My SIL lives an hour away from the stores so it's worth her wild to order online to save in gas money and hassel. However, for me I'd rather buy in store myself especially things like shoes and clothing where sizes can vary by manufacturer, style, and what country the item was made in.

I prefer to shop at the sotre where I can see the products. I don't like online shopping at all because I can't see it and it may deliver soemthing wrong to me and I wold have to ship and and pick again and stuff. Shopping at the store is much easier.

I don't shop on line because I think it is not safe for me that's how I feel but I prefer to go to the stores outside the home, I like to get out once in awhile but I have thought about shopping on line before but I just don't know if I could? I enjoy the outside I like to see the different things on sale and I also love a good garage sale!!

Both has advantages and disadvantages. First, shopping online does save gas, has cheaper prices, you can use coupons on retail (sometimes), but the disadvantage for me is buying the wrong size, meaning buying the size that turns out to be to small or to big. Especially in shoes, women in shoes the size could change depending on how the shoes are cut. So as for me, I rather shop online, browsing, and actually buying in the stores. Plus, I like going to the mall. Its a form of therapy.

It all depends on what I am buying. If it is clothing, I prefer to buy it in a store where I can try it on. I have tops that vary in "size" from large all the way up to a 3x and they fit perfectly. The same problem with pants - I have several pants that are size "20"; but, others don't fit until I get 3 or more "sizes" larger. When size is not an issue; I prefer to shop online as long as it is not something that I need immediately. I get a better selection and usually I can get better prices.

Hi. sisco100. I like the fact that I can take my time and shop online. I can do so without the clerk always keeping a strict eye out on me. It makes me feel very uncomfortable, especially when I have to go inside of a beauty store and buy products while they clerk is just eyeballing me down some. I don't steal at all. It is really annoying. I like my privacy and enough time to look for what I would like to have. I don't like feeling as if I am being rushed or anything at all. I can shop 24/7 and this time is more convenient and flexible than what I could ever find in a store that I just would walk into.

I much love shopping in store, I personally see those materials that I wanted and I choose the best. Especially dresses for me and my husband.

I choose to go to the stores. It is very convenient for me to try on the clothes and checking on every detail before purchasing it. I feel uncomfortable getting things online because I won't be able to see it until I buy it already. And also, I like going around getting the best out of my money and so checking things out personally is much more fun than just getting them online.

I like shopping online because you can shop from the comfort of your own home. If it is sizzling outside, you don't have to go out in the heat. If you don't feel like getting dressed, you can wear your pjs (or even nothing at all). If there is a foot of snow on the roads and you can't get out, you can still shop. Also, if you don't feel well, this is absolutely the way to shop.

its better to shop in store, because like when you actually see what's your buying and when it has a defect you can actually see it.
