The main reason of our triumph is the format of this wc schedule and Australia is no more a undefeatable team, plus South Africa chocks. I admit there were huge luck of Indian team so that they could able to avoid South Africa in knock out stage. Had they faced them there could be different story. But I will say whatever India had played the opponent had played worse than them so India managed to win. Throughout the tournament India neither couldn't dominate the whole match nor made it one sided. The real test they faced against England where it was tie, South Africa were they were defeated and in the final where they managed to win. Other matched were just ordinary. Australia had lost their past glory and Pakistan were playing gully cricket. Finally they won and made history winning in the home soil. India were huge favourite since starting but lacked a real bowlers except Zaheer and Harbhajan. As a part time spinner Yuvraj really bowled well and helped from the crysis. Hadn't Yuvi played so well throughout the tournament it could be tough for team India.
