Dhoni at last proved his mettle as the Captain of the Indian team! He performed extremely well in the finals with his bat by adding 91 runs which were desperately needed by the team to bag the ICC World Cup 2011!!
Inspite of the tension and the pressure on him, he played a real Captains inning and made all the Critics silent with his performance! He was very cool and balanced and the responsibility was very evident on his face and he accomplished the job of winning with a confident sixer, which can never be forgotten by any Indian Cricket Fan! Your Opinion Please!

Hi Dear Secret! It is true that Indian Team unanimously declared that they have won this Cup for Sachin Tendulkar! That shows their modesty and simplicity and respect towards to senior player and Of course the hero of the Indian cricket or World cricket!
But the win of the ICC World Cup made each and every person of this country very very happy and his chest has swollen with the pride for being Indian on that day! Thus the winning of this Cup was a big event for every Indian and it will be a land mark in the history of Indian Cricket!
Now coming to the Captain Dhoni, I feel he is ca captain with lot of thinking capacity,he has the aptitude to judge the situations and instinct about the players and the ground/pitch on which the match is going to be played! He always has selected his own team without coming under the pressure of any one and once decided he never turned back from his decision! His planning and implementing the plan is simply appreciable! His experimentation on the field may look gambling to many a people and people may call him as gambler who takes risk, i personally feel that behind every move of his there is a motive and many a times his decision has paid him the dividends and some times he miserably got failed. Like this time taking Srisant in the team and after that giving him chance in the first and last matches! This was a wrong decision!
But then on the final match the teams fielding under his captain ship was simply superb. While batting Dhoni initiated and came out to batting by climbing up the ladder of protocol just to give confidence to the team and especially to Yuvraj who might have felt pressure otherwise under the given conditions then! He came early to bat and he played with cool temperament and was confident till the end. He played a matured innings by batting in an excellent way!
He has contributed 91 runs, in spite of the fact that he was not in a good form and again in spite of having so much of pressure and tension on his head to make the team to win the World Cup 2011!
Today Dhoni is the Best Captain in the world of cricket any Country can have! within his career of four years he managed to get World Cup in 20 - 20 cricket. He has taken the test Cricket to the best of the Form in the world ranking and this time he got the World Cup 2011 after 28 years in 50 - 50 cricket!
After the match all the players unanimously agreed that Dhoni is the best Captain ever they had as he was very caring and co operative. This was said several times in the past and it was once again confirmed after the match. Similarly Dhoni expressed his confidence and the consideration about his team mates while talking with the media and said that he was co operated by each and every player of the team, may it be a junior or a senior one! Thus this rapport of this person makes him one of the best captains in the World and he justified this by getting the country the much awaited World Cup 2011!
Thanks for rsponding!

Yes akrao, Dhoni has proved himself to be the greatest captain ever of Indian cricket. Like a brave general he volunteered himself ahead of Yuvraj Singh to bail out his team in times of crises. When he stepped in India were in crisis and needed a life time effort from somebody like him to see India through. Sri Lanka were in high after dissmissing the heroes Sehwag and Tendulkar cheaply and then Kohli. They sensed victory and in a mood to kill but the skipper had different idea and went in like a man possessed. He played one of the best innings of his life after many many years. This was his first contribution with bat in this world cup. He had a very poor world cup as a batsman so far. What an innings he played right from the word go. Going for his favorite cut shot in front of the wicket in cover area with fierce power he is known for.

Dhoni is lucky captain for India.
In his captainship, India has achieved great heights in cricket. Most remarkable achievements are Twenty-20 World Cup and One Day International World Cup.
He is the first wicketkeeper captain who had won the world cup -- that too two!
He is master of in-field/on-ground tactics. He knows very well who to give ball for the next spell. He knows which batman should go for batting.
He always inspires other team members to give their 100% always. When he is not happy with any player he takes no time in removing him from his team. He never comes under influence of BCCI officials for player selection and do what he likes always.
Whenever needed he consults with senior players like Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, etc. He used to consult with Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble when they were available to him. He listen to young players and understands their problem. He is a great leader and team player.
In the final, he knew that he needed to perform so that India could win, and he did the same. He took time to get adjusted to the conditions and then fired like a lion. He completed his ODI 6000 runs yesterday. His shots were amazing. He ended the tournament with a six!
Dhoni has won hearts of 121 crore Indians.
He is the one and only Indian captain who has won two world cups.

Hi Dear Gopakumar! You may be right! Indeed Dhoni performed yesterday as if he knew in advance that he would be required to toil hard in winning this ICC World Cup 2011, so he saved the energy and performance for the D Day! Yesterday he performed like a possessed man! Under so much of tension and pressure he kept his cool and was absolutely balanced till the end and added most valuable 91 runs very cautiously! In Spite that he had some set back while taking the runs, he never deterred from his aim and he finally managed to send the ball over the boundary to a winning Sixer! What a winning shot was that!
This Captain of Indian team already taken India top in the test Cricket! Under his captain ship India won Asian Cup Series! He is the captain to win World cup at 20-20 and yesterday this man again proved that he is not less than any one in leading the team and won the 50-50 World Cup!
We are lucky to have such a captain and I salute this great player on behalf of entire nation for every thing he did for the Nation in the field of Cricket in the capacity of Captain and a player! Thanks for responding!

Yes, definitely..Captain's performance was amazing yesterday. His captainship has led India to the victory over the ultimate World Cup. I just read that India is fined for maintaining slow over rate in the match which is sad. You can read it in the link below. But overall, What a great performance by the blue Team.
Cheers!
