True friendship doesn't have any restrictions or rules.
We are in that friendship because we can be what we are.
They don't have to change us for something we are not.
They just need to accept us for what we are and not for who we are.
That for me is true friendship.

Hi terrious and a warm welcome to you to myLot!
With regards to your question about friends putting restrictions; I don't have true friends who put restrictions. I define a friend as someone who would cares for me unconditionally as I would them. Anyone putting conditions/restrictions is not exactly my idea of a friend.
If indeed this is a friend do let this friend know what your feelings are about the restrictions. People who put restrictions and make us upset or uncomfortable don't exactly understand how sad/angry it makes a person.
I would hope your friend understands that at your age you are considered a young adult and no one is too old to be young at heart. I don't understand why at 19 your friend feels you can't do certain things.
Best of luck to you and Cheers to true friendships!
