Before I do my comment on this, lets start off with the definition of "karma", not many people know what "karma" is, karma is a religious expression that means retribution, for everything you do you get a retribution from it, if you do something good, you get a good retribution, if you do something bad, you get a bad retribution, depending on what you do... Just an exemple, you lie to many people, many people will lie to you.
I don't think karma respects everything on its definition, its definition says that it retributes good and bad things you do, in my opinion, it only retributes bad things, but still, I DO believe in karma cause already happened to me, and saw happen to the others alot, bad things being retributed, like the exemple I said before but not as much, I barely lie cause I'm always caught, so I hate lieing and I really dont lie at all now, for exemple, I already wished something bad to happen to someone, like to fall off some place, and after I said that I fell, I laughed and I really said "that's karma", and yes it is, this next one I bet already happened to many of you, its the curiosity one, you like to play with people curiosity and make them feel much curious, but you don't like when they do that to you, so you make people wait to know something for a long time, and you get surprised when after you do that, I dont mean after like 1 minute after, but I mean in a long term after, you get surprised and you don't like when that happens, I'm sorry but thats the law of karma, for every single act you do you get a retribution, either you believe or not it's a fact, just something you gotta face in life and you can't denie or leave behind, in a short-term this is what's karma for me and what I think about it...
I really would like some opinions, commentaries and things you have to tell about this, I want to know everything you have to tell, just "open yourself" and write everything about this topic and tell me if you think its a "Fact" or a "Fiction"(doesnt exist)... Thanks for reading.

Well I do think in the long run Karma does come back on oneself. It just seems sometimes as though it is taking forever to happen. I have seen people beat the system, disrespect and abuse people and seem to make out great. Then all of a sudden the earth falls out from beneath their feet and Karma's the one to blame. I have also seen [people who do so many good things seem only to have bad luck but at the same time they always have loving family and friends to help them up and I think that too is Karma working to make things right. We all have bad moments but Karma supplies the support. Good people insight love and friendship which is returned in the bad moments. Bad people insight hate and rage and when the bad happens are laughed at and ignored or worse kicked while down.

I really like your comment, you explained better the definition of karma than me, many people ignore karma, they do wrong, bad and harmfull things, they think they will just go to prison and live a good life there, no life isn't like that, karma exists and will punish them for every single bad "move" they do, and in the other hand, the people who do good things will be rewarded with good things too, and in both, the retributions aren't instant, they may take months or years to be retributed, but they will, believing in karma isn't being crazy, psycho or anything, its just realistic because as I said before, it's something you have to face in life, no matter what or if you want or not, it's just a fact...

Thank you. I know some people do not believe in spiritual ideology but I think it is true Karma really is more of a practical idea. How you treat people is how they treat you.

I believe in Karma and also that it is a fact rather than fiction. How we live our lives is what we can expect to be returned, be it good or bad. I also think that if the karma doesn't come back to us in this life then it will be returned in our next life where ever it maybe - this world or another.

I can't say if I agree or disagree because I don't have the brain of my last life, I don't even know if I have lived another life or this is my 1st one, because what moved from the body was just the soul, I dont have the brain from my previous body if I had a previous life, that means I got no memory from "my" previous life... So I can't really tell you if I've been experiencing karma from my other life or not in this life :P

Its a fact... try punching a wall.. and you will have Karma
In every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
What I said above was instant Karma.
There is a long term Karma for example you plant a seed and many years later it becomes a tree and you reap the benefits of that tree. Thats long term Karma
Karma in other words is the law of cause and effect.. =)
If we extrapolate that on our day to day life its present... you kill someone you get punished for it... or something like that =)

IMO I think that karma is a Fiction.
And i'm saying this by personal experience. Because, per example, one time a girl told me that she liked me and asked if I felt the same way about her. I said no in a very rude way to the point of actually making her cry. And since that moment forward I have never experienced anything bad happening to me. I never cried or anything like she did. Actually I am now a really good friend of this girl so yeah... I don't think that karma really works. I know that karma doesn't strike immediately and something bad can happen to me at anytime but so far i've seen nothing.
I think that karma is more a "you punched me, i'll get revenge and punch you back" and a "you've cleaned the house, so in retribution i'll give you some money" type of thing (those are just examples). It's just the name for that in my opinion.

Karma Can be thought of as a punishment for doing bad things or reward for doing good things.
But I don't think in the same way as a "God" standing over you and punishing you.
You could say that it is a punishment or reward we chose for ourselves.

Yes, there is such a thing as Karma.
We are born into this life to learn. Before we are born we make up a general life outline. That is what we need to learn and the main events of our life.
Karma is not a punishment for wrong doing in a past life it is only life events that we have to happen to ourselves in order to learn something we were unable to learn the last time around.
Contrary to what christian Fundamentalism says we don't have anyone that stands over us and judges us after this life is over,we judge ourselves and we can be a harder judge that anyone else.
For more information on the read the books of paychic silvia Brown.

Before I comment your comment, Welcome to MyLot! Alright, I really liked your comment, karma isn't a punishment or a reward, karma is just a retribution of every move you do in your life, as you say and its very true, its a way to suffer or benefit from the things you do, thats why you should think twice before doing something, because there will be always a comeback, even if you believe or not, or want or not, its life, it will happen.

I'm not much a religious guy ,so that for me is kind of superstition stuff. But i am not doubting that saying of "what goes around comes around."It somewhat reminds of people do more good things in life no matter how hard you've been through with the life. And so is my philosophy .

My boyfriend told me that I believe in karma but then I am still a vengeful person. Most likely the vengeful person are the ones who are not believing in karma. I don't know how come I became like that but I think it is because of the inferiority that I have. But then I was able to witness the bad and good karma that happened to other people. I know I am experiencing the good and bad karma as well but then if I know that is a bad karma then I am really fighting for it.

I do strongly believe that everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. I respect yours and so do I.
I for one dont believe in karma. There is no such thing as karma. What exists is the term CONSEQUENCE. For every word, deed, or thought you express to your fellow has a corresponding consequence regardless of or whether it is good or not. The concept of karma, which most people comprehend, is based on the rule of consequence and the saying "What you sow is what you reap." If you sow kindness, you'll reap kindness. If you sow evil, you'll reap evil. It is also patterned after the Golden Rule which is well-known throughout the globe, "Do unto others what you want others do unto you."
Its just my opinion and I have no intention of discounting your idea, my friend. Happy myLotting... =)

Fiction, maybe...
In one hand i belive in Karma, in the other hand i don't. As you said, the Karma is a retribution of things we do.
I belive, because when i do bad things, for example, lying, then something bad always happens to me.. not always retributed with what i did... sometimes i have the whole day without luck. On the other hand, i don't belive, because when i do something well, it's never retributed.

I do believe in karma, its not only a fact but a natural order of things, the very idea shintoism (yin and yang), buddhism (karma) is grounded on. In Christianity, its like the golden rule condensed in a word. When you do bad things, expect bad things to happen to you as well, it may not be tomorrow or next week but rest assured it's going to get back at you. If you do good things, it will also be returned to you in many different ways. In science, it's like the balance of nature. :)
