What are your thought on the name Jayar as the name for my soon to be born son?

My father's nickname was J.R. and i am thinking of naming my son Jayar in honor of my father. I know it would be weird to name my son J.R. so i figured; why not turn it into a name? I would like to hear peoples thought on it. Also unique middle names starting with R are welcome. Either way I'd Like his initials to be J.R.
