Are some people born lucky?

I am not one of them yet. So tell me myLotters, are some people born lucky? Funny but I tried praying and all sorts of rituals but nothing seemed to work for me. Even when my intentions are pure, nothing seems to work. Can you give me your two cents on this?

lucky on which aspect? will you consider everything about your life unlucky or just part of it? i believe our lives are compartmentalized in several aspect by which our luck is unevenly distributed over them.
