Before the match there were a lot of talks about what murali's doosra was going to do to india.Jayasurya in a tv show was saying that india has to face 20 overs of doosra from murali and randiv. But murali didn't even bowl his quota of 10 overs even though he was economical.ANyway it doesn't matter because dhoni and gambhir batted his overs with ease.

The main reason was the way Dhoni was hitting his DOOSRAs both Murali and Sanga got stunned. Plus it was WC final and Murali's farewell match. Beside Murali had injury too. He could finish his quota had he got some wickets or could able to reduce the flow of runs but unfortunately he failed to do both as Dhoni and Gambhir were too good for him that day. Dhoni hit so hard his DOOSRA's they were reaching boundary in no time and in those regions which aren't seen before during Murali's deliveries. Dhoni read his Doosra well that day as he never failed. maybe he got some tricks and tips from his ex-teammate of his IPL team Chennai Super Kings. That had helped him in the final match.

hi friend
iam also same question like you.iam lot of tension when bowling the murali and randiv where the indians loss wickets but lastly gambir and kohli not give that chance to lanka bowlers.and murali bowling is also not given that much of satisfaction.his bad luck to last worldcup..he return his last world with out taking the wickets...but lastly Indians done good performance...

Well Murali couldn't wrap up the Indian's from scoring quick runs. He couldn't even pick up a single wicket yesterday. And Sangakkara didn't want to risk runs by making Murali complete his 10 overs. But Murali is going to retire from international cricket, and that is sad for we are gonna miss his doosras.
