I really can't express that much the feeling of being excited for my 2yrs and 10 mons old toddler to go to summer classes this coming 11th. I am having this mixed emotions. Happy, fears, bit of saddness, excitement and etc. This is actually a life of being a mom. If only i can always inject to my toddlers mind of being always number one at school i will, but not good pedia said. Pedia said never stress the childs mind. Hmmmm!!! But anyways, I am just totally happy! We've just done shopping today for his school things, and he himself is too excited also. Am I over acting?

There's a school for toddlers? I guess it's okay to express your excitement for your toddler, he's your kid after all.

Good luck with your kid. I never went to toddler's school back then so this could be something special for him. Maybe someday he'll be a scientist or something.

Going to school for the first time is almost as exciting for the parent as it is for the child. this is the first experience on the road to education. Sometimes it has a smooth start and that will make the road worth traveling.

The Happy, fears and sadness are normal for a first time child to go to school. If will be a bit scary the first couple of days because you are not use to leaving him in the care of others. Be aware he too may cry for a day or too because he is not aware you are leaving him also. Once he gets use to mingling with the other children he will be fine. As for your feelings yes they are all normal because he is entering a phase where he now no longer will need Mommy for a few hours. Be prepared because he forth he will continue to grow and be away from home for longer hours as he enters higher grades. Best of luck and enjoy the precious moments. I as a wonderful memory took pictures with their back packs on their first days of school. A memory to treasure.

No you are not over reacting. It is just normal for a mom like you to become excited to see your child entering a summer classes. Well, keep up the good work and I hope that your child will become a professional someday. :)
