I am a full blooded Filipino. Raised in the Philippines. I travelled so many countries and seen lives of my fellows abroad.
The other day 3 Filipinos are sentenced to DEATH! I dropped loads of tears, imagined what will happen to all the children left. I can't blame other countries decision, because i respect their Laws. Being into illegal drugs is really a criminal thing. But i do believe that those Filipinos are forced to do such bad things because of money. And now their are still lots of Pinoys in death rows.
OFW's (Overseas Filipino Workers) are our so called heroes in our country. I pity their lives being away from their family. Who travelled so far just to earn and support their kids.
I just went to Milan and heard their stories of being far from home. How can I help all of you guys? If only I can, no doubts i will help. Children are raised without a mother or parents at their side. It sucks! Now, why are my fellas are suffering this kind? Where are those money? Why there are RICH and why there are POOR? Why others can't help when they are able to HELP? Why can't the World have this UNITY against POVERTY?
We belong in a third world country, what really does it mean?

I'm a Filipino by birth; a Portuguese-Sri lankan by blood; and in Saudi Arabia by career. Im a proud PILIPINO! I believe that our race is considered the chosen and refined ones. Imagine the translation of the word CHOSEN in our national language. PILI, right? and REFINED. PINO, right? I therefore conclude that we Filipinos are "PILI" na nga, "PINO" pa! Saan ka pa kundi, PILIPINO!!!

hello dear,
What happened to those 3 Filipinos is really sad,sad and true, what will happen to their family esp the kids that they've left behind.
Yes we do respect the other country's law,and what does our government do to help our fellow citizen working overseas and tagged as the modern heroes of today.?.
Our government mus/should give total protection and must keep a close monitoring with our fellow citizen before things get worst.
Our government benefits from them...but,are those OFW receives the same benefits that they are giving to our government?...?
I really hate when our government takes action when it is too late...(very sad)
Let alone the homesick, the loneliness those OFW are facing being far from their loved ones, esp their kids (small kids).
Those OFW working abroad in hope to give their family a better life that our government can not provide...where is justice for them?...(oh my,my heart breaks)
It's true...if only our officials (concerns) are fair enough to served our country with honesty...i am sure we and our fellow citizen won't suffer much of this hardships and sacrifices.
This is not the Philippines before...way back decades ago,we are one of the exporters (sugar and rice) in ASIA.
We also rank on top 10 with high standard when it comes to education.
Now,everything went backwards...we're number one in corruption and rank last when it comes to education (thou, literacy is 95%)
Lets hope our country will improve with this new administration...lets hope and pray.
happy weekedays
