Is it my crime if i wish to be a writer by your help and support? Most of you know that i have started a series of discussion regarding my novel. Some good friends are supporting and encouraging me. I appreciate and thanks them who have contributed here.
But.... In this series, four discussions are not displaying on my profile. Some friends are asking me when they responded to no.. 9 and 11 and have not seen no 10. they are interested but missed some discussions. discussion no... 2496084, 2502526, 2507574, 2511449 are missing from my profile including an another discussion(2500743). So, i want to ask mylot what they are doing with my account. i have already reported and started a discussion also in this issue. Is it my crime to start a series for which they have dismissed four stories from my profile.
Some mylotters are trying to say that its totally uninteresting series of discussion and i should stop it as soon as possible. These are like rubbish and nothing else. I want to tell them that they better skip my discussion rather than giving advices. I have no need of your free advices. My good friends are enough to me.
And you mylot. I have been informing you from days that i have not received any notification from 6th March except four in this period.
I am just curious to know about my crime?

Those who tell you not to write need to mind their business. I don't know why your discussions are not there; have you received any notification from mylot regarding those discussions? Usually they inform you if a discussion has been removed. Inquire to AskAlice regarding this.

Hi shibham!
I am sorry that this to date has not been resolved, I am at a complete loss as to why you are experiencing this issue and no one is helping you. I do have all of mine in my profile and you should not be an exception.
As for the rude responses I am also sorry to hear that someone has made this type of comment and they are not nice in responding this way. If they do not like something they should simply skip the discussion. No one is obligated to respond.
I truly wish I can provide a favor response but I am not able to help in this area.

I am a writer in my own language but I don´t write the way you do. Of course, everyone is entitled to do it in its own way. But writing is, as you know, a sort of love story with language. And once you write down something it goes out of your hands and everyone is entitled to find it good or bad. It is quite different from writing a diary and keeping it locked with a key.
As for mylot´s discussion, you know that rules say that every mylotter has the right to answer th way thay want to. Same as with a novel, you can´t stop them from giving advices if they want to.
Probably you will feel this is also a free advise, but it is how I feel after respectfully reading your post. Take care and don´t be so harsh!

Of course the readers have the right to say what they want. Just think iof the critics! As I said before, as oon as you show what you wrote to someone, you have to expect a reaction.
I know many writers, some of them famous. But none of them has gotten frustrated by the reaction of the critics to th point of not writing anymore. You write because you have to do it. I have done literary workshops for years and the very first thing a writer has to learn is to listen to criticism and see whether it helps him or not. If someone just says "I don´t like it" it has no fountations so you can disregard it. But when reasons are given, you sholud think about them, even if you don´t share the point of view.

Hi friend..
you are very true that every writers need critic's view and its really important to be alert from critics... but here i dont consider them as critics because a critic always try to discover both merits and demerits... but they are asking me to stop these series without any reason. they are just an interrupter as i have realized.
Have a nice day.

Hi marguicha...
i am agree with you. Everyone can react according to their own choice after reading a story but they have no right to show their reactions publicly or directly to the writer. It may frustrate the writer and he may lose his interest on writing. If someone is not interested, better avoid it.
I have written this stories for my novel and put here so that i can nourish or furnish my stories by your helps. this is my real intention to write them in a public forum.
have a nice day and thanks for support.

Hi mamu
I do not know for what the issue is with MyLot and the display of your stories.
But definitely, I have put my response today on your story no. 12. Nothing in particular but it seems that you have been getting only the bad shades to reflect... Maybe this is why many are feeling that is wrong. Even I too feel bored today while reading that story #12. I dont yes, dont say they are rubbish but it seems that you have only painful stuff on the stories... You need to change and realize that the best sellers today are not the ones that show the negative shades... the best sellers are postive thinking and fantasies... Twilight, Lord of Rings, Harry Potter and blah blah blah....
Think about it.

I know. shibham got upset when you stated there on his series 12 that these kinds of events are not new and do not help better things at all. Might be he got upset there.
Even I had supported you and I would too say that these are the swathed sides of the events and though we know we act as if we do not know. This is ironical.

Hi sids...
well, bad shades. okay. But where is darkness there is brightness. You can't ignore anyone of them. If writers only pick up the good shades then bad will be rejected forever. And there will be no chance to refine our society. As you have mentioned some books... me too like to inform you... ROMEO AND JULIET OF SHAKESPEARE, THE PLAGUE OF CAMUE, DIVINE COMEDY OF DANTE, MOTHER OF GORKEY, ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE OF IBSEN and many more.
And most novels of Taslima Nasrin. Apart from it indian novels like... THE GOD OF SMALL THINGS OF ARUNDHATI ROY, THE NAMESAKE OF JHUMPA LAHIDI, MAILA AACHAL OF PHANISWAR NATH RENU, PADMA NADEER MAAJHI OF MANIK BANDOPADYAY and many more . Hope you will read if not.
@ rajib... I am not to be upset.
Have a nice day to both of you.

@rajib and mamu
Well, I am not objecting or opposing to what mamu writes. I am thinking this -
At mylot, many people are non-indians. Mamu's stories reflect the dark shades of indian society no doubt but when non-indian people view and read them, all they find is that Indian woman is quite low in status and more selfish, some object of lust and satisfaction and nothing beyond. This is why I am asking mamu to also post some great stories where they (the ladies get the deserved respect). Why not do a re-right of How Arundhati Bose rose to fame, or what were the pains Mother took to become Mother Theresa. Or even why not Taslima Nasreen was given a status and a place of stay here in India when she was running away from Bangladesh to avoid the FATWAA?
I amy not be a reader but I keep track of what happens and what pains they take. Mamu too will agree the pains our mothers, sisters, and all women as a whole take so that we study, grow and develop or evolve as humans. Think about this mamu. 27 stories in a row showing our cultures ugly realities is not that great as showcasing one story where woman is given the respect and becomes what we know of - the Woman.

hi shibham sorry I haven't been on mylot for sometime
I didn't see the discussions you spoke of and too tired tonight to look for it on your profile
I think interesting or not a discussion is really depends on the reader's perspective
the writer just needs to make sure he/she does a good job conveying the message
I hope mylot replies to you soon

Hello Shibham,
I checked your profile and realize that many of your topics which I received in my inbox are not showing there. I think administration is yet to take any step on your problem. Yes, it is annoying if the topics do not show in our profile. Many people have the habit of checking and picking titles from there. Your friends may get the same in inbox through notification but others hardly get any chance.

Hiya shibs,
Keep on writing no matter what you have to write about what you want to. No one should put you off that.
I don´t like lots of Writers but I never underestimate their work how can I?
Me I am not a writer but I do try it comes out how it comes out and that´s it.
Me I can´t paint a Picture for a toffee or take a really good Photo but I am there trying because I love doing that trying and seeing what happens.
When I say I don´t like Writers I mean famous ones. I won´t mention them they are only about three that I don´t like their style and don´t understand the big fuss made about them either?
Nevertheless they are there and People love their Stories but I don´t at least not for now. Maybe one Day I might pick up their Book and think that this is great but I would for now not be convinced. Have seen better Writers on ordinary places that would deserve more fame. Take heart and keep on going.xxx
