What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?

For me I think it would be hunger, hoping one day there will be enough food for everybody. It's sad that while other people are wasting food, other people are going hungry. How about you? How do you feel about this?

I feel great about the discussion but that's all. I've seen a lot of discussions like this but are we really doing something for a change? The answer most of the time is "no". I read answers such as "I wanna get rid of the wars happening in my country." or "I wanna get rid of all the sadness and the crying... Blah blah blah..." If a person wants to change something that's fine as long as he/she incorporates action with that "want". That's what I think.

I think you are right. And we must not expect governments, countries or institutions to do the work. It´s something that each of us must do. Just in case you are interested, there´s a site sponsored by the WFO of the United Nations. It has a toolbar and games. You can donate rice by either using the toolbar or playing the game. The name is freerice.com and has no viruses as it´s from the UN.

I wish the world will be free of wars; but since wars are always connected with economic and politics, I think it is impossible. But I wish that the minds of the greedy and brutal leaders will be free of being war freak so this world will be at peace!

I agree with you about hunger. There are TWO BILLIONundernourished people in the world. I already posted a way we can help a bit everyday. Scroll up for freerice, the site from the World Food Organization. We don´t even have to spend money to do this. Of course there are other ways too. But each of us must take a task. Noone is going to do it for us.

Hi santos mari chris: For me, it would be hateness. The world would be totally different if people and countries would stop trying to destroy ones to anothers just because they don't think as we do or because they aren't as we would like the'd be. So I'd create a more tolerant and compassionate world. ALVARO

The abolishment of money which could serve to ease the poverty in a way as it would wipe third world debts or rather if it was a change then the debt would never have existed . Also wiping money out of the world essentially can rule out the need for some wars with many looking for a gain in power/wealth . There will still be a few who'll look for more power though but I think it would make a bit of a difference in the world. Again with money being ruled out essentially though we could remain as barbaric human beings hunting and fighting for food so essentially the change may not bring about the desired effect .

Hunger is also one problem but I think people just need to work hard to eat well and have family planning because producing too much babies and you can't even well afford to give it the right foods and education is such a waste of time. Sometimes we need to install common sense in our life, we created problems so therefore we know how to solve it. Another thing I would like to change is that people should be more aware with their fellow human beings. We can't just live alone in an island right, we need to start caring for others, loving them and somehow show them that we consider them as sisters and brothers after all we lived in the same planet. Let love flourish in everyones heart.
