a treatment for HIV?

Hi Guys i'm a Newbie ,this is the 3rd time I met somebody wanting to buy house geckos. They claim that this kind of lizard has medicinal property to treat AIDS.They are offering hefty sum for a kilo. tsk ,tsk , tsk . . .if this is true. .include the gecko as another endangered specie. Anybody who has idea regarding this?

Well as of know, I don't know any treatment for HIV. I think its a scam.
I have seen you are in the philippines. Do you know the radio station promoting "phenomenon oil"? they saying it can cure HIV too

if house geckos would be the treatment for HIV, then i think a lot of peoples will buy it and this species will be endangered species.

There are still many claims about strange treatments for not only HIV but some others diseases that one just can't tell.
In my opinion, the most proper thing to do is to go with what has been scientifically proven, tested and approved. I would not place aside alternative treatments, I'm in for those as well, big time.
But I think speculaiton for "new" or something that sounds just too weird I guess it would make me at least think twice or even do my own research, not just go and accept it by impulse caused by desperation.
