Is it fun to loose than to pretend?

That's a line from Nirvana's song Smells like Teen Spirit.
Well, is it really fun to loose than to pretend? Yeah, I guess so. I am always true to my self and others that sometimes there would be a feeling of rejection but I always say to myself that it's okay, at least I tried and it's their lost that mine. I'd really rather loose than pretend.

Hi santos mari chris: I am not sure if this is what you are thinking and what this sentence in this song means but I think it's better to lose someone or something than living a fake. When you lie to yourself you'll feel better and it will hurt you more.

Hi,
I haven't listened to that song yet! Maybe I'll give it a try! :) I already love that line..
I've always been real, not only to myself but to the people around me! I don't like to pretend to be like somebody else or show them that I'm strong even if I'm not! I just want them to see who really am, and love me for who I am..

I'm not sure what you are getting at here. I'm guessing you meant lose and if you did than ya i do agree with what you are saying. Pretending is just fantasy and can't really benefit you. If you lose, at least you tried and had a chance.
