Male pattern baldness

Heredity has always been blamed for having male pattern baldness. Now there is some medicine that claim to have solved the problem. Is there people out there who have try this medicine or any kind of remedy to solve balding.

Well there are some ways but I don't know if they work. For example stimulating hair follicles like if you watched "anger management" by Adam Sandler, the electric hairbrush of some sort.
minoxidil they say might work.
