I used to see wireless networks on my VISTA, and after a while I found out that my Broadcom 802.11 card (in-built) cannot detect the wireless networks again. I tried all my best to see what's wrong, including advices from some online sources such as reinstalling the wireless card's driver, all to no avail. Please help me out. I need the wireless connectivity on my laptop badly!!!
Thanks and hoping to hear your professional ideas

If you have tried re-installing your wireless connection and still not working, have you tried using the cables then?
Try using the cable,to make sure that your wireless card connection is not working.
If problem still occurs, then see a technician that's the best option to make.
have a great day

Vista has some pretty strict security (built in). Do you remember being prompted to allow a program access when you tried to update? If you accidentally selected block, you may need to temporarily lower your firewall to allow any message or prompt to appear again.
