i think you should start off with really easy fish to start with - fish breeding can get very difficult. try guppies, they are small and colourful and quite easy to breed. you'll find lots of information on keeping them online. if you are successful with them you could go onto more difficult and more valuable fish.

Thank u all for ur valued views. And u all indeed have covered a lot. Thanks again.
I am also thinking of starting of with guppies and moly's.
I have only 2 aquariums. My main aim is breeding them. I already havd a buyer who is ready to buy from me.
So, once again anything u want to add to this, please do.
Thanks.

I would definitely suggest starting with tropical freshwater fish. Saltwater are much more expensive and notoriously difficult to care for.
Also, take into account that you'll need to know of someone or a pet store who may take the babies off your hands if you can't sell them fast enough to keep tank space free.
If you're serious about breeding, you should try and buy fish from a reputable breeder. Fish sold in the stores are generally not good for breeding stock, because you have no idea of what their genes are. With a reputable breeder, you'll at least know what you're getting for your money. As a result, you will end up spending more money on the fish, depending on what breed you decide to go with, sometimes, they'll cost substantially more money than at a pet/aquarium store.
You'll also need to have quite a few tanks set up in advance, ready for the babies. An unconditioned tank can kill babies in less than 24 hours because the water conditions aren't right for them. Just the tanks and equipment will set you back a fair amount financially at first. Be sure that you'll be able to make your money back by selling the babies. Again, having fish from a reputable breeder will raise your chances with this.
I personally would suggest that you set up a small tank initially, and buy a few different fishes suitable for a community tank, so that you can observe each breed and see how they interact with others of their own breed.
I wish you luck.
