We all love our countries and proud of our nationalities BUT "Migration" is dream of many and many people "and i'm one of them" specially for country like USA or Canada.
What do you think about migration ??And if you want ,where you will go??which country will be in your choices ??

I am writing from Nigeria. I am an internet surfer that is dreaming of moving to the industrialized part of the world. I would like to migrate to countries such as Germany, UK, Canada, USA, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand etc This can only happen if I have the opportunity to pay for the cost. It is very expensive to move from an african country to europe or america. It is only the rich that enjoys this opportunity.
My reason for migration is not farfetched. It is simply to seek for greener pasture. There no good jobs in Nigeria. If you graduate from a school you spend several years looking for a job that is simply non existent. thanks

As they said, looking for a "greener Pasture". But I guess life in those country not that easy too. Maybe US, my husband is there and I want to be with him. If he is in MArs, I will go in MArs too, just kidding. Which one you like to go by the way? Migration is okey as long as you will never forget your beloved native land...

I may be strange, but I want to migrate AWAY from USA. There are too many problems here for someone who is older and it is hard for me to get a job here. At least by being here now, I am able to get disability payments and I would lose that if I went away. But if I were to move to somewhere in Asia, it would be cheaper to live and I could probably get a job teaching English again. I had to quit my job in China to return to the US for medical treatment when I found out I had cancer again. I don't know if it would be to China, but I might go to Thailand if I got the chance.

hmmm...you are facing same as our problems :S But i have to tell when we are migrate ,countries like USA is accepted only high qualification people to get benefit from them as possible.
But no way to compare between Asia countries and USA ,everything in asia is made by its country so life there is much cheapest

I know that the requirements for getting into USA are high. I guess that is why there are so many illegal aliens in this country. I think they should get rid of all borders and let people travel freely. I think it would make the world safer because people would be able to get to safety easier and wouldn't have to worry about breaking the law to go to a new place if they can't afford to buy a passport or visa. Those are just control mechanisms. I would love to be able to go somewhere cheap to live!

I'm in America ... one of the best states in America for normal people to live too (Oklahoma).
I would move to the French mountains near Nice (where SHE is plus they say the food there is really healthy), but I don't want to learn another language ... we all know that God speaks English anyway
I also don't want to mess with the whole immigration-paperstack; I'd prefer to just 'go there' like I'm on vacation, and then just not come back.

I would absolutely love to travel around the world and stay there for a month or two but I can never think of migrating somewhere and living there for like forever. I love my country and would like to be here forever. I couldn't think of living elsewhere.

I really didnt have any interest in migration until a few months ago when I realized that there are so much more places to know about. We're basically scattered. while we are from the Philippines, some of my aunts and uncles are in Europe (Sweden), some are in San Francisco, California USA., some are in Middle East :( Theyre all there for work and some of them have raised their families there. It would be nice to bring my mom, and my sisters somewhere in Europe to settle down, maybe like Bulgaria, somewhere many people are not familiar of. That way, we can start anew. :)

my uncles work there as engineers and project consultants. They like it there because of the countless opportunities they can find :)

When I was 20 years old I traveled to Australia and really loved it over there. The warm climate, the friendly people, the beautiful landscapes and the high standard of living impressed me. At age 28 years old I traveled there again and planned to migrate there. My dream to do that ended at age 29 years old when I gave up trying to migrate there. That year I traveled to New Zealand but didn't feel that the weather was to my taste. I traveled to South Africa two years ago and liked it there. I traveled to Canada last year and liked it there. I am happy to stay in my home country and keep on my traveling overseas.
I think that some people migrate to a different country to improve his or her life. Now I have a son that is disabled I know Australia wouldn't want my family. I am lucky I live in the United Kingdom because his medical care is free and he needs a lot of it. I think Belize would be a lovely country to emigrate to. It is English speaking and it is a tropical country. I chatted to some American ex-pats there and they love living there.

most people mugrate to have a better life, specially if they cannot have good job in their country, its is important to valorate what we have in our own countries, i have heard that many families have regret to migrate, after the childs are grow because parents wants to go back home for retirement and kids dont want, because that place is their home
i hope people here can share their stories so many others can learn about experiences sometimes is worth it sometimes not.
