Just yesterday, as my office mates and i are eating, i was trying to pour the bought soup into a bowl. Just then , the bowl tipped over and the soup went running down the table. I shouted to warn my office mate beside me because it was running over to her! OMG , what a clumsy act! Good thing, my office mate got my cue and stood up just as i too, to avoid the soup from spoiling our uniform. I profusely apologized to everybody and we were all laughing at it. I promptly get the towel being used for the table and wiped them. I even pour alcohol on it. Have you encountered incident similar to mine ?

hello simplyd, Mind that dear...good thing the soup did not spoil the day (in uniforms) We are on a seminar, and so it's coffee break. We are having coffee then, one colleague comes with her coffee and out of the blue spilled her coffee to us. Yes,to us! She's walking to our direction, but she's not looking to where she's going to and missed one chair in front of her. Imagine what happened then...coffee on our clothes. Ugh ugh...not to mention,it's kinda hot (yawwww)

Yes, when accidents such as that happens to us, we really are at a loss of what to do with ourselves. Imagine, a hot coffee spilled on you! I would have screamed like hell ! But because it's an accident, we cannot stay angry with the culprit.

We crammed to the washroom and tried to wash off the coffee. Gosh, the coffee spilled on my b*mper get inside my b*a (hahahha) My one colleague had showers on her back. We took off our blouses and b*a to wash off the sticky coffee spills (not funny huh) but can't help out laughing...coz the culprit is there assisting us...and doesn't know whom she's gonna assist first. I almost ask her to buy me new blouse

That was not nice of your boss to put the blame on you, though. Didn't he apologize for it himself?

I guess it is an accident, everyone does. So no worry too much about this and you did a great job by apologized and cleared up your mess. No one meant to do it right? so just be careful for next time :). For me, I always pull those stuff near the sink just in case this happen...

I think i was sidetracked by something that my office mate was saying. We were all in a round table animating and eating that's why. Good thing , nobody's uniform was spilled on.

Yes, the spilled soup was from the plastic into the bowl. So, there's still left at the bowl. We stood up from our seat lest it will fall into our skirts and blouses.

My dear you did survive without any major setbacks. Sometimes these type of silly accidents can spoil the fun and make you scared as hell.Last new year bash my boss threw a party.I along with the guys from the office joined in.I thought of showing of my skills of making cocktails for my friends.Everything was going on well even my friends were cheering me up cos I was doing Tom Cruise like act untill my boss along with his wife came up.While I was making there drink I became a bit more show off and spilled Vodka on his wife that too some where on her blouse. To this day he does not agree that I did not do it on purpose.

It spilled on his wife's blouse? So what did you do to remove the stain ? Did you attempt to wipe the stain on her blouse? No wonder, your boss thinks you did it intentionally!

I have had lots of clumsy moments too like staining my dress with dip sauces, breaking something when washing the dishes and many more...and this one incident is more likely similar to yours, Here it goes: During my working days, me and my friends are eating lunch at our company's canteen. What I had for that day was "adobong pusit" (or I think its called squid stew). Actually its one of my favorites(yum yum, lol!) and you can imagine how black it is with its "ink" sauce. As I was trying to cut the squid with my fork and spoon, the sauce started to squirt from it. I was shocked, because one of my friends who's sitting in front of me had sauce all over her white uniform!. I felt so sorry for my friend that I had her t-shirt washed off(good thing she had a spare uniform in her locker).

When we meet an accident like that, we as the culprit really would be so frantic of what to do to ease the discomfort. Good thing indeed that she has a spare uniform . But as for us here, we don't have. So if ever something happens to our uniform, we have no recourse but maybe to wash the soiled part and maybe look for a drier. We have lots of them anyway at our franchised restaurants here at the mall.

Plenty of time, during our tea break! We’d all sit round a table and as the discussions became more and more animated and engrossing, just somebody’s elbow would rub against the tea/coffee cup and the cup would trip over, with the coffee/tea running in all directions

Yes, those accidents about beverages always happens. So i make it a point, whenever we have a meeting and coffee is served, that i would be extra careful in handling my coffee. I would also be on guard of my seatmate's coffee.

Dear friend, few times coffee have been spilled, when in cafe with my friends, that way back in college days. In home few times cup of tea has been spilled. But never soup. Once those cup of tea even fell on to my shirt, I had to change it to go out.

Well, we have similar experiences. Though, when yours happened, you are still at your house. You can very well change into a new one and nobody was harmed execpt yourself. Nobody will get angry just in case you spilled the coffee on a person.

Yes, that was what i was worried about. That it would spill into my office mate's uniform. Good if it will just be me, because i can take it and i have only myself to blame.

OMG! That was really a disaster! I just hope the hot soup didn't hurt you much. I now have a habit of standing and letting the one who is to put a soup in a bowl, finish doing it, before i take my seat nearby. I don't want to have the same incident anymore.
