I believe many of you know what is Durian, it is widely known in southeast Asia as the "king of fruits" many people do not like it because of it unique odour. Actually Durian is really nice to eat and it is sweet and is even nicer if it come with a little of bitter taste.
Many people do not dare to take it because of the unique smell, and that stop them from tasting it, if you really taste it, I believe you will fall in love with it.
So, have you ever eat Durian before? Are you the fan of Durian? What is your experience with Durian?

most would say it's tasty amidst its disgusting smell. Personally for me, i haven't tried to eat the raw fruit. what i've tried eating are just candies made out of it so the smell is not much of an issue for me. At first, it really tasted good but i don't really like the after taste. it lingers in my taste bud. i don't really like it that much.

Hi! You should try the raw fruit, the taste will be much different if you take the raw fruit, and of course it will be much nicer than the candies that you take. Candies only have the smell and flavor of the durian and I too do not like the taste of durian when come to candies, I prefer the real one.

When I was little, I didn't want to try durian because of its bad smell. I didn't understand why some people will find it delicious. Later when I grow up, one day I tasted it occasionally and to my surprise, I didn't find it so disgusting. So I started to try more durian and I started to like it. I think it needs some time for you to get used to durian. If you enjoy eating it, you won't be afraid of its bad smell. Perhaps it is another good smell for you:)
I love China

I like durian.
Lot of people really don't like the smell of it,but once they've tasted it...i'm sure they're going to love it too.
Yes,it's sweet and a little bit bitter taste is a good combination and the meat is so smooth and yummy.
It's too expensive anyway, can't afford to buy as much as i can.
have a great day

Yes, you are right, for people who like durian, it is really a good food for them, but for those people who hate the smell, they think durian is kind of s_it.
Durian is always expensive, what I always do is to wait until there are plenty of durian, at that time, the durian will be cheaper.

I wonder why a lot of people don't like the smell of durian?
For me, i like it's smell. It's so exotic and so fruity. Much more the taste, is so heavenly!
But to be honest, it's been years since i have tasted one. It's an "imported" fruit from Davao, so it's so expensive here in our place. It costs PhP100.00 per kilo and a fruit is more or less 3 kilos or more.
But soon, i might buy one if i see one in the supermarket again. You made me salivate for it, that's why.

Hi!
Yeah, I believe it is because of it unique smell that make people dare not try it. But if you have tried it, you will fall in love with it.
I though Durian is also available in Philippines until you said that it is an imported fruit. Actually when it is durian season, it will sometime can be as cheap as US$0.6 per kilo in Malaysia. I think you have chance to travel in Malaysia, you should come during the durian season and you can eat a lot with a cheaper price. Now actually is the season of durian and another one will be around July.

I haven't tried Durian, I guess it is because of the smell. Since the tongue is affected by the smell, I think that it will affect how the fruit will taste like to me. I have a lot of friends who likes Durian but I haven't gathered enough courage to try it yet Someone suggested to put the fruit in the fridge for a while because it is less smelly when cold. I think I will give that a try one of these days

Well, I am from Davao city here in the Philippines where many people visit to eat durian. It's true that many people doesn't like to eat or even taste durian because of it's smell but I have proven it that once you have tasted it you will surely love it and the perception of these people about the durian will surely change. Durian is very very very very delicious and mouth watering.. hehe.. I just LOVE DURIAN! Actually, it's my no. 1 favorite fruit.;)
