We want to believe that people are being honest.

I think this is the underlying reason why people want to believe that money making opportunities online are true and not scams. Why people keep falling for the same tricks every and time. Because, the vast majority of people don't want to come to the conclusion that the Internet(heck, the world), is populated by dishonest, low down creeps who will prey upon people who are in a desperate situation. Yet the truth is, while not everything is a scam, most things will end up being a scam online, even if they don't start that way. It just makes us cherish the honest websites even more, doesn't it? It might not be a pleasant reality, but its a realistic one, that there are a lot of sadistic people on the Internet.

Yeah very true friend it is to where we cannot trust at all no matter what our prior research says. I am one to give the benefit of the doubt but still with distrust lurking in the back of my mind. I prefer to be wrong and find great results later as opposed to trusting implicitly to later be hurt.

Business plans, for a real business, you would really need one to say the least in the real world. Some people tend to really mistake that they are going to make far more money then they do. Then they slowly cut corners. Once you start snipping apart the bits that really have attracted your users to the website, then sadly the rest is downhill. There have been many websites over the years that have paid many times. Then slowly a few people were late getting their payments. Then more people were later getting their payments. It continued to slide down into scamville. Its an ugly slide when it starts. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I think that most of us look for and see the honesty in people. it can be discouraging to think that someone we care for or would like to know better are cheating us. Believing in the honesty of others is something we assume but can't always accept.

Well you know what they say about assumptions. These days, the world is becoming a rather jaded place. It is really just the nature of these things. Everyone, has gotten burned by a lot of things in the world. We would like to hope the best of people. However, there is a difference between hoping and being blind. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

It is the whole world, we just bring it into our lives more easily through the internet. Many people do not have morals, they believe that if they can benefit themself then it does not matter if they cheat someone who is foolish enough to trust them. They have no conscience. It is good to celebrate the sites that do what they claim and do not make false and unattainable promises.

They take the trust of the idealist and crumple it up, before showing no respect or care at all. Granted, there are people that would have to be much lower out there. However, these scammers are high up the list. It is depression I bet many people who are jaded about making money off the Internet did not get that way without some bad experiences and perhaps a few(or more) dollars lighter. While I'm not completely jaded yet, I'm just merely properly paranoid. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

people are just people, online or real life
so we need to be careful before trusting anyone
sometimes I can't believe how cruel people can be
that's why I am careful who I give my trust to, be it heart or money

Got to be careful. Even more so these days now than ever before. Not that this is a new thing mind you but it is getting to be a bit of a problem. You really do need to tread fairly lightly and make sure that no one takes you for too much of a ride. People are crafty, in both the real world and the Internet. They have all kinds of tricks that will get their hands on what they want and leave you hanging. Thanks for responding. It is much appreciated. Have a nice day.

You have a point here. But you see not all these were scam, the hard part is knowing who is real or not. Sometimes people have to take risk to know the truth whether at the end of it they succeed or not. At least they could give some helpful advice to other people who is experiencing same first step they were in before.

We all have to start at the beginning. There are some people who have had experiences and not all of them were good. Not everything is scams. The trick is really finding the websites that are good. Thankfully if one researches enough and asks enough questions, they'll figure it out before too long. However, when you stumble around blindly, and believe that everyone is telling the truth, because they are saying so, then we got the problem. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

There are many Internet sites on the birth of every day, some of which had to be taken in order to achieve the purpose of misleading way,but as the article above, these sites make the final, will only make us more appreciative of the integrity of sites,I Believe that in this world, the essence of each person must be good, to be honest,we should adhere to the faith, because it is God has given us a valuable asset; There is a saying:"A thing is valued if it is rare.

Faith remains strong for many, despite what we see with our own two eyes. I really do admire that, really I do. Hopefully more people will be honest and give more people a need. However, just because we want to believe, there is no need to blindly believe. The fact is there are both good people out there, but there are some wicked people in. Just got to be honest and help with the problem, not add to it. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I agree and its such a letdown because we hope it is trusted and honest to return out hard work and hours some of us spend, the internet is just such a easy place for scams and many get fooled but i also am happy when i find a genuine site as others are happy too.

It is really a joyous feeling when a genuine site is found. Of course, we should not really have to dive through so much rubbish to find an honest, good website. The fact that we do, is really a sad indictment of the Internet these days. Still there are a few good sites here and there. Still this statistic might be a little off, but someone mentioned to me that for every eight scam sites, you can find one good site. Now whether that is too outrageous(whether its being too nice or too mean that is), that is really something up for debate. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

It is such a shame that everything has come to this. You can not believe anything and even when you get a job offer that might be good you are scared off because you do not want to be burnt. As for me I am glad that I have places like this and there is another site that I go on not a money making site just a job site where people share theie experiences and if they know of any job opens they tell us what to look for in scams and what are some red flags. If I did not have this and the other boy would I be nervous about doing anything online,

Yes it is really a shame. Especially when there are lot of really great opportunities potentially out there. Yet we have been burned way too many times. There are only so many times that you can be scammed, before you start second guessing everything. And that is getting dangerously close to being the proper thing to do, as much as I hate to admit it. There is a lot of greed out there and the economic situation have increased the pool of potential people to be scammed by those who are willing to sink that low. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

The only thing that stops people from doing this kind of business (ending scam) physically, is that the laws prohibit this in all countries. But when it comes to the internet, ethics is in most places what regulates business and all types of interactions in the network, since only few countries have implemented policies against internet scams.
The world is full of scammers, people who expect to take advantage of the most gullible will fall into their traps.

The Internet is still the wild west of the business world in many ways. For as much as the world has embraced it, it is lawless. Eventually there are going to be all kinds of controls that will be enacted, but perhaps it might shackle those who are starting to start something legit. Then again, it is really necessary in many cases. A necessary evil perhaps but still there needs to be some enforcing done. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I was like that at first, very trusting of all these money making opportunities that we often find online, but then after trying some of them & realizing that they were nothing more then a scam I became wiser & mush less trusting of such sites. Now I only use a few that I have come to trust & stick with those.

Yeah I really do need concrete proof before I start on something and even then, I'm a bit dubious with a lot of things. Two years ago, I was wide eyed and I don't want to say naïve, because I was a bit more careful than your average new comer. But I was a lot more trusting. I think that I have dodged some narrow bullets. There might be some programs that are a bit slow going for a while, but that's just the nature of the game. You can't just expect to make money over night in a snap. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Hi Megamatt ...
I agree, that many sadistic people on the internet. in particular affiliate program selling ebook because I've experienced after the promised money transfer, ebook was not able to work even spend the time to an internet connection, not the money that we can even losses that we produce.

A lot of the ebooks out there are rather complete rubbish at best, or things that might have once worked, but now are complete one and million shots to say at the very least to ever work again. Very few people are going to earn money from the techniques, only those who write the book and are able to get affiliates from the links they put out there. Its rather sad, but quite unfortunately true. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.
