Thinking about what to cook is my hobby, I write it down when I think of anything.
My husband is not home for dinner this week, but I did food shopping yesterday anyway, I can't wait to do all these meals next week, it is my ideas:
- stuffed shells with spinach, minced pork and shredded italian cheese in it and parmansean cheese on top.
- whole chicken with some spices marinated on the outsides, I brush some honey on the skin towards the end of the baking.
- barbeque spare ribs + garden salad.
- T-bone steak on the grill + garden salad.
- parmansean chicken with pasta.
- nachos + honey mustard chicken wings.
- fried rice with some pork and lettuce.
How's that sound?
Anything to share? so I can have some ideas for the next week
I like to just think about what to cook even though the week is not over yet hehe , my husband saysno wonder why he is getting porky!!

I do this often with my friend. We love to cook and often do so together as we live only a few houses apart. Today I am making a big ham we got from a friend and we will have it baked tonight with mashed potatoes and salad and broccoli, tomorrow will be a penne with an Alfredo sauce, ham cubes and peas. We will also make ham and spinach rolls and pea soup this week yum!

Ham and spinach rolls sounds good, do you make it with homemade bread? Or you mean just spinach + ham alone?

I make a dough like pizza dough and roll them up. I just substitute half the olive oil for butter to make it a little flakier. I also use Swiss cheese in them.

ivy, that sounds a bit heavy for me, although super delicious. You did forget about fish in the menu, and more soup based viands. But all the food you listed are super yummy, that much I have to agree.

My husband likes meat so I cook lots of meat for him + vegetables is a must. We both like fish very much but we need to go far to get fish spo we don't have it often until the summer when my husband goes fishing.

That is a great meal. I will be happy to see that set of meal on dinner table when I come home. i don't see anything to add there. I is perfect.
but if you want sto add fish on your menu, maybe Deep Fried fish in Mango Sauce will be great.

We both like fish but the fish market where sells good fishes is quite far from us, we will get fish when we go to that direction. When the summer comes, my husband will catch fishes, then we will have fish all we want

Really? That's very nice, I never met a guy who likes to cook other than my dad(he is a cook and he cooks really good).
Your wife will be happy to hear that

Mmm.. that sounds soooooooo goood... I would add beef stew in there though.. I love a good hearty stew.. Ooo and make some pies!! You can just make a simple chicken pie or make a guinness beef pie with cheese..

Sounds mighty good to me. I hope your husband appreciates that u cook so many young women don't such as my Dil, lol. I made a sheperd's pie last night that i thought was good. The only bad thing i will have to eat it for days because i do not waste food.

MMM I want come and have dinner by you.
I love to cook and understand you like it also. I have to admit that I was a person who use to cook 7 days a week, but I have been blessed with a boyfriend who also loves to cook so I enjoy when he does and or I will.
But I know what you mean my boyfriend had gained a few pounds since we have been together. I am Puerto Rican so I tend to cook a lot of rice and I also love to cook anything with Pasta.

As being fond of cooking myself i totally understand your passion about cooking a different meal every evening.I, myself, prefer cooking mostly italian food. For example my favourite meal is spaghetti with cream and different kinds of cheese.I also pretty much enjoy cooking different cream soups such as potatoes, mushrooms, chicken, spinache. Also one of my favourites is chicken with cream sause with mushrooms and yellow chease poured on it.Another things I love to prepare are different salads with sauses. For example italian salad-tomatoes, boiled potatoes, macaroni, yellow cheese, green salad, cucumbers, ham, pease, and sause prepared with milk, mayonnaise and lemon.

aside from our love to cook, this is one of our responsibility at home for our husband and kids. I understand and love this discussion, because somehow it helps us moms think of what to cook everyday.
NOw i am thinking for my next week's menu
howabout:
chicken bbq
mixed vegetables and crispy fried fish
dried pork stew
corned beef stew
butter garlic shrimps
cubed and buttered spam with corn
