Yesterday, I was finally able to get the haircut I have been waiting all winter for.
As my locks fell away from me, my tensions went with it. I started to become relaxed for the first time in a long time. I felt very good. Powerful. The depressed state I was in just disintegrated. I felt I could see things from a new perspective.
What helps you when you feel depressed. Is it new shoes, or a dress? Perhaps just seeing the sun shine on a bunch of flowers?

Seeing the sun is a big relief for me. I also like to come online and interact with my friends here. I find that getting some physical exercise also improves my mood, or some yummy food. It is interesting that you mention the haircut. I just cut hubby's hair today. I know it has not been more than a month but it was a mess. We talked about the fact that we were providing the birds with something to make nests with this spring.
