What is the favorite foods to prepare in your birthday

My birthday is almost near and I don't have enough money to buy some foods to prepare. Maybe I will go to church and pray to the lord that hope many blessings to come, light some candle and wish more birthdays to come. I will maybe prepare some chicken to cook and no other, how about your foods to prepare if is your birthday? What are your favorite foods to prepare and do you go to church if it is your birthday?

Advanced Happy Birthday to you... Firstly, I start my day by going to church and attend a mass. It is a way of thanking our Lord for the life. On foods to choose, I prefer spaghetti and pancit for long life, as they say. Another is roasted pig or "Lechon baboy" but be sure to take easy on its fat. And One important thing that will make your day is to be with your family.

Now at my age I do celebrate my birthday in a simple way. Just a simple cake and few finger foods and pastas that I share with my family. I guess when we grow older we like to keep it simple just to be thankful for that day.
