Most peoploe think life is related to biology, living and conscience. But in our daily practice, we speak of life of many non-living items like life of a vehicle, life of a building, life of an equipment, life of a man-made structure etc. This makes life more complicated to understand and study. So, friends...! Will you just think on this topic about life and post your rationalized views?

Life of a living thing is the amount of time that the being is breathing and going out it's natural life, which is different between plants and animals. I think that the reason that the term life has come to be used with nonliving things because it is easier to just refer to it as "the life of a vehicle" than to say the useful period of a non-living item. It is one of those things that has evolved over the course of time.

Life is so much more about emotions and feelings, I feel the body doesn't belong to me, life is so fragile that the only thing that it's important it's to evolve and who we really are inside.

The only thing that I can possibly add to this, is that life consists of living things. Life can also be things that you go through while you are living. Life can also be some kind of experience too.

Life is about feelings, experiences, and accomplishments. We are a product of our environment and religion and education plays an important role on how we look at life.

wow tall order impossible really. no two of us will answer this to your satisfaction., life is breathing and eating and all that goes with being a living human. we learn that God made us in his image and we are to love ourselves so we can love others. we are here to help each other. we are here to learn and teach others. to share and care and grow into unselfish human beings. life is complex and you cannot put it into a short discussion like this and be correct at all. My view is that each of us will give you vastly different viewpoints and all together we will all be pretty accurate at that.

In the case of animals, plants, people, fish, birds, microbes & insects, we use the term "life" to mean that these things are alive, & will someday die. In the case of inanimate objects, such as cars, buildings, or batteries, the term is used to estimate the duration of the thing, that is, how long is it expected to last. How long will it remain useful or functional? "Life" can even refer to the length of time an event lasts, such as the "life" of a news story, a trip abroad, or a romance. The expression, "the life of the party" refers to someone who is the center of attention, a person around whom the excitement of a party centers. A prisoner who must remain in the penitentiary is said to have been given "life" (as a court's sentence) for the crime(s) he or she committed. That prisoner is often called a "lifer." And if the prisoner has committed many crimes, he or she is said to have "led a life of crime." As you can see, "life" has several uses; I haven't listed all of them! Even the life of an animate being, ultimately refers to the duration of its living state. It's nearly impossible to list individually the various subtleties of the term "life;" it would take you nearly a...lifetime! Hello my friend Mitraa Ji, Well, It is my feeling that as and when I turn my Album, though it is a lifeless, but generates life into me. Similarly when i visit my country-side mud-house, which is shedding day by day, gives me pinch of life. However, i wish to bring out and artiocle from HINDU dated in 2003 as below and for more you may log-in following :- http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/mp/2003/02/20/stories/2003022000240200.htm "Online edition of India's National Newspaper Thursday, Feb 20, 2003 SHARATH KULAGATTI, whose exhibition titled ... And Life Will Go On concluded early this week, gets his inspiration from observing day-to-day life in general and objects at the construction sites and petrol bunks, in particular. His paintings, mainly acrylic or watercolour on paper, work on ordinary objects caught by an alert and observant eye. There is a mood of anticipation — sometimes tense, and at other times, placid and quiet. One can also perceive a rhythm in these works, be it the petrol stations series of three paintings or the machine and other objects at construction sites. The composition is quite tight and colours stark. There are elements of abstraction that crop in now and then but in any case — and fortunately so — the paintings go beyond simple photographic reproduction possibilities. The young artist, who completed his degree in Fine Arts from the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat in 2000 and went on to study on a freeship at the Kanoria Centre of Arts, Ahmedabad, confesses to have been attracted to objects of daily life, their changing profiles, varying purposes, and often paradoxical transformation. For instance, he sees the physical attributes of a petrol bunk undergoing a sea-change, even if the purpose of its being remains unaltered. The modern petrol bunk, with its swanky looks and colourful outlook, is also a symbol of blatant commercialisation that has crept into the urban life. The nozzle of the petrol dispenser, however, remains the same and the purpose cannot change, come what may. But the petrol tank, which stores the fuel, can either be a dusty, crusty barrel or sport a colourful attire to attract customers. The three paintings in the series .... it continues..." May Godbless You and have a great time.
