illegal downloading

I have to admit, I have done my fair share of illegal downloading. But after many rounds in the ring with myself I decided to stop downloading music, movies and tv-shows without paying for it.
there's many places on the net where you can buy the same things, and then actually give something back to the people who have worked hard for creating it.
If you live in USA you can also stream alot of tv-shows for free at the show's website.
But guess what? I don't live in the USA!!!! And therefore I don't have the opportunity to stream tv-shows....That I could accept if there was a way for me to buy the episodes. But there's not!!! I get frustrated when I have to wait at least a year for it to get on dvd and buy it here in Norway, and then to a price that is extremely high.
Not all of the shows is even coming out on dvd here, like "dancing with the stars". So what am I going to do??
I try to buy things, and I try not to do any illegal downloading, but they don't have any options for me to actually buy a lot at the episodes or tv-shows since i live in Norway.... oh, I get so frustrated!!
But how are things in other countries? Is it as easy getting things legall as illegal?

Well i for one will say that i do it but because its really a little bit too much that you can't watch a tv show if your not in the us which is really stupid.
Every company wants to get money from your or else they would not show it to you.

Yes I know... but at the same time I do understand that they want to make money, it's their job after all. But I think maybe it should be a discussion on how much it should cost aswell.
But for us not living in the US, they should have an alternative to illegal downloading if they want it to stop!

I find it really hard to be able to afford the prices they are asking and still keep up to date with our favourite tv series and actors movies. I love illegal downloading, i hate to admit that i brake the law online but i can't help myself when i know that i can't afford it and i can only miss out or find the free download on a bit torrent sharing site then i go for it! I like to promote all the music and movies i find to my friends so i guess that would help for popularity and records sales, etc. either way i can't afford it atm and i don't like to miss out so im in.
