Summer and what I wear

Winter is gone, summer came. My place is hot normally and in summer the temperature may go to 48 degrees Celsius.
While in home, i prefer to wear lungi and sandow, if i am going out i prefer pajama-kurta of pure cotton, loose fitting, very comfortable.
I try to avoid polystyrene totally, not at all comfortable in summer nor in winter.
[b]What season is there in your place?
What dresses you wear?
Do you go for cotton or polystyrene?
Please respond.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir,
I have some skin problems going by the steriods and medicines. So I have and love to stick to cotton. Shorts and Tees are my favorites (and the good news is that I now dont go out of house most of the time and so I can really wear those dresses which were against my profession - I was a teacher)
Summers are already set in the state and sadly I expect the temperatiures to hit 50 degress - global warming or whatever but it is already hotter than what it was at this time a few years ago.

hi professor its spring here and the days are warmer but not hot as we get a lot of cooling damp air from thne Pacific ocean just five miles
away. I understand it gets really hot in India. I also love cotton for use year around as its never hot like polyester and it seems to let cool air in in the summer. It feels so good against my skin too. I usually wear a skirt and top as I a m sort of pudgy. I do not wear slacks as I
like skirts they are more feminine to my way of thinking.

So you live near ocean, the nearest sea is 400 kms away from my city, we visit Puri beach , Bay of Bengal , but i find the air chilly, sweat doesn't dry easily.
Yes skirt is good for women they look women..
When i see persons wearing Jean and tops, at times i get confused if it is, HE or SHE...
Thanks for sharing..

Summer is around the corner. I like to wear cotton or a cotton blend! It is the most comfortable! It breathes better then other fabrics! I like to wear shorts and a tank top most of the time. When I'm at work I have to wear a shortsleeve shirt with my name and place of employment on it. We also able to wear capri's or shorts, which I do most of the others, to work in the summer. Glad we can because it gets hot in the kitchen I work in!

I'm so glad the weather here has gotten warmer. This year it was really cold, maybe the coldest we ever had but not actually but still I felt it that way. Anywya the weather is pleasant right now but I can't be too happy because the weather keeps changing quite often.
Right now just a thin jacket does it but in the daytime it's a lot warmer so during days a jacket is not needed.

Cotton, linen and other natural fibers are always much more comfortable, so that is what I choose. If I do not have to do any heavy work I think long loose dresses are really comfortable. However, if I have to garden I will wear jeans, or jeans shorts. For support for my feet, I am supposed to wear athletic shoes with support. Sandals feel good and my toes like them, though. It is just that my knees hurt if I do not wear sturdy shoes with orthotic inserts.

Jai beta
25 is not much, but it will go up soon, keep your air-conditioner ready, do you have small one foot by one foot flat fans made from bamboo slices, they are hand driven..

This month of the year its suppose to be summer already. But I am really confused or maybe because of the global warming there are rains all over in our country. Its so hot in the daytime but during afternoon and night time that's the time the rain kicks in and it will last until the morning the next day. For me its really cold, I would like to wear jacket and jogging pants to make me feel warmer. that would be what I am going to wear during night time but during day time I would prefer wearing cotton because its cool in my body and its comfortable for me.

Cotton is certainly comfortable, the change in weather patterns may be due to global warming, our foul play with nature..

As in the south too it has become hot and getting hotter day by day, we prefer cotton clothes the most. Salwar kameez or cotton saree when going out and other cotton dresses at home. Cotton is the fabric for south Indian climate almost throughout the year. Otherwise we will get cooked in the hot sun alive.

It's now slowly getting summer now here in our place. The past week has been raining intermittently though, but since the other day, the sun is already shining high. But i have noticed, that it's not that hot yet. In the afternoon, as i ride home, the breeze is so cool and so is at home.
Summer to me means wearing sleevelees , cotton shirts and shorts at home. In the office , as usual, our uniform. But one wash days, i would be wearing cotton shirts and blouses that are light to the skin. Cotton is the best to wear when it's summer time.
