seeking career in natural photography

Most of the outstanding photographers are not primarly trained in Photography. If you want to become a nature Photography I would suggest a college major in Biology. It is very important to know your subject. Being a professional photographer is a difficult path. Good Luck

Making money with photography is more about being a businessman and less about being a photographer. My suggestion: get to your library, and read some books on the business of photography, especially Photographer's Market for the current year. There might not be a very large market for nature shots. For nature, you'd probably have the best luck with selling your images to a stock photo site, but nature shots are ubiquitious. Your stuff will have to stand out.

the key to have it as a career is to enjoy it.there is no use of doing something if you don't even like it.I also love photography.I love it as a hobby and as a profession.I like fashion,landscape,animal,and food photography.I would use natural lighting as much as possible.

It's about loving what you do. Photography is my hobby and I have never thought of it as a source of income. But with practice, my photos became noticed and eventually I was able to sell them for a certain amount. If you're going to really focus on this as a source of income. Then you need to be committed and dedicated.
