It will be my first Mother's Day, first year being a mother.
I mentioned it to my husband couple weeks ago, guess what he said
he said that day will be a fishing day - the fish supposed to arrive to the canal in that day and it will be a good day to catch a lot of fishes. Maybe he will bring me a stripe bass as a Mother's Day gift...
I don't think my 6 months old will know to do much hehe, I'm hoping he would just sleep through that night for me as a gift!

Hello Mermaidivy, what tender and sweet you are! I remember my first mother day! Our baby girl was so small she didn´t know what was happening. But the nice thing is that my mother´s birthday is on May 9th. So we celebrate it together... that was really nice! I wish your husband pamper you that day... =) , indeed, we know all days should be mother day... isn´t it?
Blessings!...

True!
I was thinking about I should actually get a gift on my son's birthday from my husband because our child's birthday was a hard work day for the mother, good to celebrate annually, agree?

Oh yes!! I have heard something similar of a friend of mine!!
And she gave a present to her daughter of 9 years, on mother´s day to thank her, that she allowed herself to be a mom. lol
Blessings!...

I would suspect that would be a good gift if your Son would sleep thru the night. I am fortunate my kids slept thru the night by 5-6 weeks old.
Perhaps your husband could do something with your son for a gift? I wish you best of luck on your first Mother's day gift.

I had a lot of fertility problems when my husband and I were trying for a baby and at the time I used to dream of celebrating Mother’s Day as a mother so when we were finally blessed with our daughter my dream came true. Our angel is nine now and very good at making and shopping for presents herself now. I remember receiving a beautiful hand painted mug with a rooster on it for my first Mother’s Day when my daughter was still a baby. I still have it and it is a very prized possession.

When I celebrate my first Mothers day my daughter was only 3 months old. To have had her in time for my first Mothers Day was truly a blessed gift.
You will have fun and feel so proud on this day. I do hop you get to enjoy the day. Hoping baby sleeps through out the night, is truly a wonderful gesture.
Enjoy your day!

oH, time flies so quickly, it is mother's day again, i remember as a child i do always make some mother's day card for my mother, and put some message on it, she always so appreciate it, maybe i could make one for her this year and send it through post office so that she will be happy..=)

Yeah, I have a 6 month old too, and he is yet to sleep for more than 2 hrs at night.
Last mothers day I was pregnant and my hubby took me and my mum bowling... we love bowling. But no card.... which upset me... so this year I wonder if he wil remember... I'm not going to mention it to him.
