Are we blind to our own faults?

I think that there are times where a lot of us who are self aware are about to catch our own faults, but there are also many times, where we do not. Let's face it, we know our lives, but we might know them a little too well. Therefore, we are going to expect to see some things that are better than we think. Therefore, we are often the last people to see our own flaws and own faults.

More often then not, I really do agree that we are able to pick out our own faults more as we get older. Well most of us are I think. There are some people that are so deluded that they are really not able to see themselves for what they really are. Therefore, they are unable to really find their faults a lot of the time. Which can in fact be a problem more often than not, but there you go.
I also agree that it is really analyzing them that is going to find faults. And I think that when you think about it, every person is flawed in someway. Some faults are much, much larger than others granted, while some are a lot smaller, but they are a bit of a nuisance to say the very least. Still we don't find the faults, unless we look at them. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

You always can you share from your experiences, you can listen, can empathize with your feelings, but I need my experiences in my being to generate thoughts, feelings, emotions.
I am what I think! I am what I learn from every experience lived! I am what I feel! And I always choose: they can choose to let you watch me as I am or to hide behind masks at a time that might identify me!
But I let my feelings unfold! Natural and healthy! Wrong or right! When I'm happy, smiling, when I'm sad, stay frown! Do not lie to you and even more importantly, be honest with myself!

It is truthfully the best to really be honest with yourself. Naturally if you are honest with yourself, then you will always be honest to other people. There are times where we only see what we want to see but if we stop and think about the completely obvious things out there, everything is beginning to unfold in a way where we are able to see what faults lie. Sadly, many will still be the last person to see them. Unfortunately, no one's perfect. Thanks for your response. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

that's why remembering hermetic principle is important
Everything starts within
doesn't make everyone else always right, but doesn't mean we are always right either

Very well said. In the end, there is no one case of everyone being completely right. On the other hand, there is no case with no one being completely wrong. It is quite the interesting thing but it is very true. The fact is that we are going to see a lot of things, some of them we'll be right about them. Others, we will misread to a gross level. It is really intriguing
Everything comes from within. Very true to say the least. I do think that a lot of discovery is needed to really hammer together the more intriguing aspects of life. Therefore, there may be a lot of self discovery for us to figure out these things. There are discoveries that really do take a while to make. Still very true. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I think we can be blind to our own faults. We dont always see ourselves as others do. We can be clouded by our own judgments and not see the error of our ways.

Yes it is most difficult to see the error of our ways. We expect what we expect to see many times. Our judgments can be skewed by the things that we expect and the things that we think should be in front of us. Instead, there are a lot of times where we are the last to see something, even something that is rather obvious and painfully so. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I believe because we are humans we do commit errors and mistakes for which at times although we try to live true to ourselves we tend to have faults that we do not recognize as such at the time.
Sometimes too I feel that because we would like things at times to be different we have a tendency not to recognize the wrong way we do things.

Yes that is a part of being human. I do agree with that a hundred percent. We skip out on seeing our own mistakes. Oddly enough there are many times where we are going to see the faults of others a lot easier and a lot quicker. When presented with the same things with our own lives, we cannot really see it. It is one of those intriguing and often times distressing things when you think about it. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Indeed, we do find out things way too late for our own good. It is rather frustrating that we find out these things that should really be obvious, after everyone else might have picked up on it. Yet, there are a lot of times where it is not really that obvious to us or anyone else. That is the tricky thing about faults to say the very least. Everything is clear to varying degrees.
We do see what we expect to see a lot of the time. Therefore it is really hard to see our faults for what they really might be. We are going to have a lot of ideas of what we really should be seeing. Therefore, it creates a lot of blind spots in our life. It is rather crazy to say the least, but it is something that is all too common. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.
