Two weeks and then you're your own boss, how would you feel?

My husband told me that i could retire in two weeks time. We can afford for me to be a full time mom. Of course im exited! But how does this affect me emotionally... I am finally free from my boss after too many years to count. But in the same breath, i cant run away from the mudane tasks at home anymore, using "gotta go work" as an excuse. Am i crazy?

You're not crazy, as for me i'm already my own boss. According to the IRS if you make more than $400 a year online you are considered self-employed. I exceed $400 a year, I can make almost that in a month. So I'm already my own boss, plus I work outside of home and dealing with my boss outside of home ugh. Don't get me started, so it does feel good to say "i'm my own boss" and i'm sure you feel the same. Congrats on your retirement, hope you make the best of it, boss free!!

Working is actually more easy than being a full time mom. The household chores, the needs of everyone in your house, are all your responsibilities now. However, It is very rewarding to serve your own family :) Not everyone is given the opportunity to stay at home, so enjoy and i wish you good luck :)
