I am in university right now studying engineering. The program is extremely difficult and I've always got work to do. Whenever I sit down to get some quality work completed thought, I get of track. I start surfing the web, going on facebook, pretty much everything except working. I know I need to work but I just dont have the motivation right now. I want to be outside in the warm sun, play some football, bbq. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get some studying done?! I NEED HELP!!!

You have to split up what you have to work on in smaller parts. Is it difficult things you have to learn, take only a little at a time to read. When I have to take in new things I write it down and I take a short pause to let it sink into my mind. Then I take a new small part, write it down and sometimes I read it out loud for myself. What I have studied in the morning hours I repete reading again in the evening hour. You can take a walk for like 30 minutes and then do your study for an hour. Have something to eat and then study for another hour. Try to set up a schedule for how many hours a day you think you can manage to study. I think it is realistic to set up like 2- 4 hours study every day. Then there are time for others things. Try to find a balance with what you like to do together with your hours doing your study. You have an attractive goal to reach becoming an engineer. Take it step by step to work your way closer to your desireable goal.
