I've been using XP for a very long time and also i have tried Windows 7 in my PC some days ago . I was being with XP because i could save some space that i can use for placing some data . Bu i sometimes feel that XP's look wasn't that much good ! Do you have any suggestions ?

Yup , windows 7 is a good one , but regarding the space and the memory probs , it has to cover some.

Windows XP was a good operating system that I have found useful for many years. However, after a while, it was beginning to get a little old hat and a lot of programs, while they still ran, did not really run as well on the Windows XP computer. XP was perhaps the standard for years and it really did take a while to get something that would replace it. Windows Vista was a misfire to say the very least and it was a step backwards for Microsoft.
Windows Seven on the other hand, is rather great. I heard that it took all of the things that actually worked with Vista and previous Windows systems and tweaked them, to form a great system. There are really few problems with this operating system. I cannot complain about what Windows 7 has to offer. It excels high above the rest and is a good operating system.

Had you ever used windows 7 , if you use it for just two days , you won't be having the idea to downgrade your system to any other OS.

I like using Windows 7 more than XP because, IMO, it's more user-friendly. Plus, I think my laptop likes Windows 7 more than XP because everytime I run XP, it always crashes.

Hi there,
Windows XP is easy to run I mean to operate compare to WIn7,At first I'm using WinXP too but I shift to Win7 and I find WIn7 is quiet reliable too. The different of those OS is just Win7 is faster to use, its layout looks nice compare to XP.And now XP is no longer supported by Microsoft. In other word it will soon be replace by Win7.
I love using Win7 in my OS and I already get use to it.Try to use Win7 more often and you will see how it works for you.
Happy myLotting!

I have used both the OS to their maximum limit , both of them were good in their own cases .

Actually, for me, it depends on your system. If your computer can afford to have a Win7 installed without hassles, go for Win7.
I prefer Win7 over XP since in some online games that I play, there are bugs in XP that doesn't exist in Win7.

My PC is compatible with both the OS , but the problem is am having only 160 gb hard disk , so i am not ready to waste 30 GB of it for windows 7 itself.

I am using windows 7 on my netbook now but I wasn't able to enjoy it's accesibility. Maybe because my netbook is not compatible with windows 7 yet. I have read and heard a lot of reviews about windows 7 that it really has a great performance. Well, for the meantime I have to downgrade to windows xp so that I can enjoy my netbook. And when I get a better laptop, I will go back to windows 7.

my laptop used to have the Windows 7 OS, but I wasnt comfortable with it and back then not many programs were compatible with the 7 yet, so i downgraded my OS to an XP instead, which i am much comfortable with. In your case, it probably depends on what youre after, the storage space or the look,,, I briefly used 7 so i am not familiar with its storage, but with the look, you might want to check win 7 ultimate :)
