Hi fellow Mylotters,
There is this friend of mine who is very conscious about her skin tone. She has a dark skin and always complains about it. She has had few boyfriends before but has none at the moment. She wants to get married and settle down. She thinks that it is because of her skin colour that boys don't come up to her. I tried to convince her a lot but she is very depressed at the moment. So, i thought of checking out some skin lightening products over the internet for her and found this one :http://www.superwhiteningpills.net/ ...
This is a Phillipines based site, So I was wondering if any of my Philippines fellow Lotters have any idea about these Pills. If they have heard about it or even tried it themselves... or if they can recommend something better.
I would like to get as much information as possible.I can see some testimonials and before and afters in the site too but i would appreciate some real life experience of fellow MyLotters...
Honest Comments appreciated!

first of all i wanted to know why you want to try this lightening pills? aren't you proud of your skin color? in my opinion this pills and cream have chemical that might not fit into your skin so sometimes it have a side effect that you'll regret sooner or later, be contented of what God gave you and don't change anything

Hi there, that is what i have been trying to convince my friend. She always tells me she wants a fair skin like mine but i try to flip it by saying i would consider myself lucky if i had a dusky skin like hers. But you know, human nature...always longing for more.

Why on earth one would risk their health for light skin --- fair or not what matters is how good you're from inside.External beauty does brings in attention but again it is temporary. Why cant you suggest your friend to look out for someone who loves her for what she is right now than to end up with a messed pale skin upon using those highly over-hyped skin products.Great day.

hello sweetme,
I don't try any skin whitening product because i am happy to my Filipina skin and color but if you really want to or your friend wants it better consult a dermatologist it will be more safe besides we don't know what will be the side effect of the pills and if its really true we also have different kinds of skin types.
have a nice day!

i haven't heard of the product you just search. but i'd rather not take whitening pills specially if it is not commercially introduced. its risky specially nowadays. there are lots of new products without dfa approved. if your friend really wants to have a whiter skin, better consult a dermatologist, a credible one, to be sure of the whitening products she will use.

i wouldn't advice to take pills if you want to have a fairer skin. i myself is trying to look fairer but i use something that would only touch my skin and not my entire system. i'm a filipina and i have a tan comlexion. as we know, everything that we intake orally will circulate in our system and will affect our sustem a lot. like the liver and our kidney. i use kojic soap and it's indeed effective. i don't want to name brands but i'd advice you try one. make sure you use a moisturizer for your face coz it will kinda make it look dry. apply lotion and sunblock.

I don't know about skin whitening pills. I don't like the idea of eating something for the sake of changing a natural aspect of ourselves. Do research on side effects of the pills before trying them.
Thus far, I only use a skin lightening cream on certain parts of my body. It may lighten the area, but you will definitely not turn white! Furthermore, our skin pigmentation is based on our genes and it's something we cant alter.

I just saw a show here last week called The Doctors where these two young teens were using creams and pills to lighten their skin. There reasoning was that if they white, they would be better liked.
The Doctors explained on how dangerous this is. That the skin cells get deadened and potentially they are running a risk for all sorts of diseases because their immunize system would tear down.
I am not sure about this product but please tell your friend there are risks with using anything to change the skin cells.

i suggest you not to use these type of pills this will help only those componies which make them by increasing their income.never try to get artificial skin lightening, you may know that our body contains 70% water and to make your skin lightening you should drink more and more water.increase your water intake, use very much vegetables and fruits in your meal.avoid fast food and nonvege.by applying these steps your skin will definitely improve.hope this will help you.
