Have you ever get tired of the cafeteria food?

Hi babyanna We did not have any cafeteria when I was at college. During our last year, my group of friends got sanctioned the permission from the Principal. It was to set up the income source of one of our friends who wanted to continue studies after graduation but his family did not have funds and he was expected to join a job somewhere to support the family. For a few days after passing out from the college we did hang around at this cafeteria but the food was quite okay. I do not know much what happened with his business after he left it... But yes, at the college hostel, it was a mess. Like most of other responses, it was almost the same menu every week... but that was quite cheaper and even today, I think it was the cheapest that we could get.

i think every student or even employee experienced the same thing. i remember when i was in college, we tried to go out of the university to eat at small cafeteria just outside our school. same cheap price but not the same menu everyday. i also try saving money so we dont eat at fastfood because its more expensive that time specially if you are still studying. good thing that i manage that and successfully graduated. now i didnt have to suffer to eat the same menu of our school cafeteria over and over again =D

Well not for me! there was this place( canteen/cafeteria of some sort) where i literally eat everyday for 5 years and not get bored with it. I am that kind of eater where if i enjoy the food, even if i eat it everyday i will not get tired with it. But ofcourse i also like to experiment some other restaurants and such but I am usually picky about the,.

When you eat the same thing everyday, naturally you feel nauseated. I have one famous restaurant in mind. They have the same food menu everyday--chicken, steak, fries--so boring.

There are times when day in and day out,you will be seeing the same food everyday. So I go out of school campus and eat at KFC, Mc Donalds, shakeys. Then back to caf after a few days.

Heck yes! Every week at school its like the same scedule of food. Every single Friday I have been at school we have had that school nasty pizza. It was so greasy and stuff. They should just let McDonalds or Chickfila to cater the school. They should have their own little shop in the cafeteria and we can choose whether we want to buy from them or not.

Well, its not only cafeteria food but any food if taken on a regular, repetitive dosage can get boring. But if you really want to have a safe, healthy and at a cheaper cost, home-made cooking is the best. You may not get all those commercialized preparations but for me, home-made cooking better that cafeteria food.

It depends. Some cafeteria canteen provides food that has fair quality but some is just gross. I seldom eat at cafeteria court, I prefer restaurant better unless I'm rushing to do something then I will have something quick there.

Cafeteria food can get boring sometimes. Variety and flavor can often be lacking there and routine of food can get monotonous.

It is quite common to get bored with cafeteria food. However, if you have a change and come back after a few years, you will find that you missed it. You'll be surprised why you hated it so much in the first place.
