Why is our government facing a shut down today?

Democrats said the deadlock was all about a GOP demand to deny federal dollars for Planned Parenthood, which uses the taxpayer money to offer contraception and health care for women. Planned Parenthood is the nation's largest provider of abortion assistance

Does this not bother you? The democrats even admit it. Holy crap talk about a dog with a bone. People, it is time to let it go. It turns out that tax payers do NOT want to pay for abortions. That is not going to change. This is a very big issue with a lot of us. I do NOT want my money paying for the mass murder of babies.

More like a rabid dog in the grip of blood lust...
It is becoming more and more obvious that our country is in the grip of an ideological war. When killing innocent life is made a priority, a right over and above the welfare of the country...something is very very wrong with us as a collective people.
Those of you on the fence, need to choose up a side. Cause our government is going to do it for you if you don't.

The "government" needs to be "shut down" for ignorance and stupidity and incompetence in all areas. Nothing they do is in keeping with their role as "servants" of we the people.
The democrats are beyond reprehensible. It is pathetic that the abortion issue is part of their "holy grail". Abortion is murder, pure and simple.
But, then again, what can be said in defense of a "party" that committed treason in order to "win" an election.

Don't get me started! It's just another form of "reverse"
discrimination and getting a leg up without EARNING it, using "political correctness" and taqiyya in order to deceive and vanquish a perceived enemy.
And that goes for feminists, too, who used lesbian lawyers to wrongfully take away jobs from men who had EARNED them, through years of hard work, excellent test grades and job performance, high standards, and seniority.

it's funny-until this all blew up,i had never heard of tax payer's money going to PP-i had thought it was a privately run thing.all walk in cash/checks.
i'm surprised they would fund abortion with the no babies=no future tax payers scenario alone.

Good morning to you too. I've been staying away from MyLot trying to finish my Mom's book. And we decided to go with another publisher; one in Ruidoso. We're going up Monday to take pictures, etc., so now the deadline is real. I'll be back next week... Have a good one!
