What dessert book should I buy that would help me the most???

I so love making desserts,. I saw a book that was so thick in a bookstore which talks about dessert. I want to buy it but i was thinking if I could make the most of it.

Sometimes its not really worth it to buy a book it will just collect dust in you shelf. I download free ebooks online it saves me money, oh and if you like to bake its better if you read Paula Figoni's "How Baking Works" it explain how ingredients work and the reactions that happen during the process. With the dessert book i would agree with stowyk.
