Hello Lotters,
It's been a while since I've been on this topic, though i tried to avoid this much since there's a lot of serious Sh.t going on here but i guess others are doing it too. except only issues that are too hot for american lotters to avoid
I don't need to name out issues here that has really starting to upset the people of America. but my perception on Obama when he won the 2008 Election, my mind was stating "this guy is just one term, am sure he's man enough to step down" but I was completely surprised about his Campaign Ad for 2012. unfortunately, in here we got 6 painstaking years to wait for another election (2016).In my view, i think he should let it go, before he ends up like Bush (e.g. being thrown a shoe and missed). any President now a days who extends his or her terms gets totally criticized like in the negative (e.g just like my country's former dwarf President turned congresswoman)
But the question is Do you? ***** It?
* Hope my Grandma would be Neutral this 2012 *
I mean, what's the big deal, it's the end of the world anyways :D
have a Nice Day.

I really do not much of an opinion either way because until we know for sure who is running against him it would be too soon for me to place an opinion. Certainly he was the better candidate then his opponents in the last election.
So for now my dear friend I am not really sure if I like and or dislike the idea. I am standing on neutral ground and normally am not too passionate about debates as to whether a candidate is better or not. Usually I have an opinion and research for myself and make my own decision. I find I have way too much of my own politics to be debating anything outside of them with perhaps others who are passionate in politics.
** Strictly my own views **

Hello Hardworkinggurl,
the last time i was passionate in politics, i got screwed and that was in 2010 elections. well, you can only decide when the time is right, it's too easy to tell. but i think early campaigns can also create a backlash if the people misinterpret it for some reason they would believe things didn't get well...in the economy.

Hardworkinggurl, What did you research in 2008 that told you Obama was the better candidate? Was it his body of work or his years of experience?

bestboy I appreciate your comment but no where in my response did I say he was the better candidate in 2008 nor that I researched him in 2008. In fact I did not even respond as to whether I even voted for him in 2008.
So not sure why you are questioning?? As I stated in my above response I am not one to debate politics. In fact I don't even respond to politic discussions in myLot. I did so with my dear friend Letran's discussion simply because I felt I had a neutral un-debateable response and because Letran is a friend in which I rarely miss his wonderful discussions.
So dear bestboy I really don't have much input when it comes to politics. I usually await the campaigns, view all televised and net debates the make my own mind. I am too much of a happy person to get too worked up and or try and change anyone's opinion.
I hope you can understand that my response above did not mean he is best or worse it simply says that I am not sure if Obama running again is a good or bad thing.
Thanks for commenting.

I wish it was a practical joke... but it isnt.
Take a look at Ron Paul and his popularity among average citizens. He is the highest fundraiser and he does it with individual $10-$20 donations. But the GOP wont back him. Do you know why? Do you know why Ron Paul eats lunch alone? same reason, he cant be bought.

Hi LetranKnight
The passion gets stronger once we get to that chair. I believe this is a similar case. As HardworkingGurl mentioned, it is quite too early to say anything like a prediction but yes, it confirms that power and its lust can make quite a many change their stand (in today's world) - My views only.

Hello thesids,
Well, at least he admitted it this early enough for the people to be ware of his future plans. unlike my former dwarf President who had to lie to either run or not.yeah, we have our own views though.

I think if you really followed what he and his administration has done in the short time he has been in office you would have a different view.
I have been following these guys since Nixon and I have never seen a more balanced or any administration that has tried to do so much and god knows it all needs to be fixed.

Hello TTCCWW,
Unfortunately, I have been following my own country's politics. I really wonder why the term is only four years when they can extend instead of just to five or six years like in my country. well, my view is limited so that's why i didn't brought up issues from the US

Hi,LetranKnight25!
Well,I kinda liked Obama when I first saw him running for the election. He was kinda cool and I certainly liked him better than McCain. But yeah, after three years,it seems that he didn't have big achievements at all.We don't need a president who is good at giving speeches, but one who can do some real stuff to improve the country's image and deal with the national and international issues.People in America also have disputes over Obama as well.My two American teachers here simply hold different views.I don't hold strong belief that Obama will win the second election. But really,it doesn't concern me.So...

Hello babyanna,
I don't think the Problems were easy to begin with since they had it worse now a days and now a rumored government SHUT DOWN is being talked about. I mean, WOW! a government shut down! first time i've heard heard of that in a country so powerful to have such resolve.
it's not really disputes but people are indeed disappointed. sometimes, i asked myself, if our presidents here couldn't get things right after 6 year term what more Presidents who's only have 4 year term

Yeah, well, good to know that the government shutdown has been averted with the compromise. It's just crazy~They did have some state government shutdowns before. If they had it again,it would be the second time for the federal government to shut down in less than 20 years.
And about the disappointment,it's for sure that the problems aren't that easy to be solved within just 4 years. One of my American friends doesn't even wanna head back to US right now, claiming the situation there sucks. Can't really believe him.hehe.
Certainly wish things would get better.
Have a wonderful weekend!

what is his achievement by far since I never felt his accomplishments as a President? Though our last president is corrupt, it seemed like she have more accomplishments in her first few years more than are current President, All I hear about him is his love life and his brand new car, He doesnt have much projects yet.
I'll never dare to be a president, its a very stressful Job,..
Back to Obama, I hear a lot of complaints already againts him. But Oh well America dont have much choice, their choice for president is only 2.

Hello Albert,
Yeah, being a leader sucks big time i think. as for ours, i think he needs to prove himself more. if he's still screwing things up on 2012 then i can say that he's really not fit. the media only sensationalize things. i believe problems can't be solved that easily in one day but rather it's even harder for four years.

Our country's progress is a currently a working progress, yes there is a progress but only the upper middle class feels it. There are programs that can help our country but Catholic church is trying to take over and our current president is a devout Catholic.
Back to Obama, He have lots of things to do to prove him self. People believes in him because he is just a sweet talker. Sometimes the less charismatic ones are the good ones. But Mccain is kinda not so good too.
I dont know if Hilalry would have been better but America dont really have much choice. They only have 2 presidential candidates to vote for, unless an Independent candidate wins which is so not gonna happen.

I am not really sure what to say about our presidents anymore. I think some of them get in there and mean to do as well as they can but they can only do so much with the power they have. America is so far gone, it would be unrealistic for us to come out of the doldrums anytime soon.

I've heard on the news about this issue, too. And it came as a surprise. Doesn't he had enough yet? I can only grimace at the thought that he'll be running again. My prediction would be, he will not win this time. Oh, it is so easy to calculate that.He has been given his chance to prove his capacity to rule such powerful country and yet he allowed his governance to be a parody. I'm not an american but i'm pretty sure not so many of them are pleased to have him in the white house for the second time around.
