Crows’ meeting

Last night I couldn’t sleep well, had pain all over body. I got up at 6am, when I went to open the main gate as usual, because the maid servants comes any time between 6.30 am to 8am; I heard loud cawing of crows. I was surprised because crows are not seen for past several, all trees, their shelter were cut in the name of widening of roads and modernization of city. These crows were cawing and wandering above roof of 3 storey building in front of my house, so I went our roof top, from there I saw, what appeared to me as a meeting of the crows, one crow was sitting on the centre, several around him and many were flying above. Wish I could have taken a picture, but I didn’t carry my cell phone, I don’t have the strength to go down, come back with my camera lol. Crows are harmless birds, they eat insects, dead rats, left over foods, keep our environment clean. We have a faith, if a craw caws in your courtyard early morning, some guest is coming to your home, get ready to welcome… But this unusual meeting on somebody’s roof is not considered good, my mom used to say.
