I recently purchase a phone from a Chinese website for $80, it says my item has not been shipped out and its been 5 days. I paid via paypal. If they don't reply back to my message I sent them should I file a Paypal dispute, if so how long until I will receive my payment from Paypal

If you look on Paypal's website you will find all the information that you need about filing a dispute and making a chargeback.

If the site does not respond within 72 hours, I'm filing a dispute.

this happened to me once, i bought a joystick condole, they were unable to deliver...the china company. i filed a disputed i received back my money. Dont worry Pay Pal will help you. you will be asked if you still wants the good delivered or just return the money, the choice is still your if you want the money of the phone.

Did they give you an estimate of the time they would ship? Not every company ships immediately. I would send them a couple of messages and if they didn't reply within a couple of days, then I'd take it to Paypal. I don't know how long Paypal will take, but they should tell you.

I've spent $500 worth of items from Paypal, and I've noticed whenever I spend a lot they don't ship the item. I'll wait for them to reply if they don't then I'll file a dispute or claim.

Well something like this happened to me I bought something and paid through paypal and I haven't received the order so I emailed the company I ordered it from and they told me to contact Paypal. When you start to fill out the dispute form Paypal tell you to contact company 1st and if you haven't heard from the company with in 3 days then fill out the form. It took roughly 1 week for everything to be resolved. Why because Paypal contacts the seller and gives them 3 to 4 days to respond then they start there other proceedings once they haven't heard anything so you can get your money back.

Well your lucky they paid fast, sadly some sites don't pay quick so I have to change my claim into a dispute.
