It's true. But we should be careful who to keep. Some friends, you may lost them for hurting them. Others, they judge you and don't understand you but are nice when you're in front of them. Some you don't expect to develop a good friendship. But after the long years, we know our real friends who are worth keeping.

When you are seeking a good friend, you must choose wisely. There are some people who wants to be your friend for the wrong reason... Before chosing them as your good friend, you should consider what qualities do they have? Once you have a clear idea of the kinds of friendship you would enjoy, you can decide to create more of them in your life.

Life can be lonely and having a good friend can make all the difference in the life.. It really is true that to have a good friend, one must be a good friend. Having a good friend can be a great connection that allows you to have fun and also gives you someone to talk to. It is best if you seek out people who have the same interests as you do and somewhat of the same lifestyle. For example- If you are single, it may be difficult to be close friend of someone who is married and spending most of their time doing activities with their life...

And most importantly, never take a good friend for granted because a true friend is hard to find...... " MAKE NEW FRIENDS, KEEP THE OLD.... ONE IS SILVER, THE OTHER IS GOLD " :-)

You are right there.I have alot of friends, but there are only a few that i class as real friends as these are the people that do bother to come and see me as well as call me, when they do not want anything in return.I think that i am at the age where as i chose my friends wisely, where as in the past i use to know alot of friends and they were all two faced as well as back stabbers.

Friends should be the one who knows and understand our feelings.
It's not easy to keep friends who doesn't know us personally.
So,when making friends and keeping their company we must and should know each other well.
happy weekend and welcome to mylot

Hello akashpathak,
First of all, a very warm welcome to the mylot family!
Yeah, its very true that friends play a very important role in our life! We definitely need to understand one thing first! To have a good friend, you should be a good friend. It goes by the saying, the people in the world are just the mirror of yourself. They are the same to you as you are with them. But only friends are the exceptions in this. No matter what you do and how you are, they are still good to you.
Friendship rocks!
Good day!

This is soo true.Friends have a huge impact on our character and whether we realize it or not,we soon develop similar habits and perspectives. Thus we should choose our friends carefully, and hold them dear to us.Never betray or cause them any pain. Its our duty to do whatever benefits them and protect them from criticism. =D

This reminds me of a friend of mine that I miss. I brought the end to our friendship and often times I regret it..I miss her and the times we used to have but things change and people change...It really sucks tho sometimes. We need to understand our true friends are the ones that tell us what we dont want to hear and we need to believe they are doing it cuz they do care about us..especially when we know they are right we are just to stuborn to admit it. :(
