What does the weekend mean to you?

Sometimes it means for me going out with my boyfriend and or doing things together at home. Today he has a rehearsal to perform at so I will be home all day and evening alone. Have fun during his performance! I know when I go see my boyfriends theater acts I always have a blast.

Weekends are the times where I can truly be what I want. Weekdays are full of nothing but schools where you pretend to be how your friends want you to be so you can get along with them. On weekends, if you're by yourself at home, you can truly act how you want. I don't even have to worry about my friends suddenly seeing me acting totally opposite of what they were thinking of me.

For me, weekend means "I can do what-ever-I-want" time. I would sleep till the sun setting in the west, would stay up all night at a pub talking nonsense with my friends, would go for a movie marathon either in the house or the cinema and would dine at my favorite restaurant. I hope that somebody would propose Friday to be included as part of the "weekend". Cheers.

I'm on night shift, most times I don't get good rest during weekdays. Since I am also the big sister, after getting out of work, I rest for a while then I sort what needs to be done - pay the bills, grocery shopping, washing the dishes, cooking, giving the dog a bath, prepare his food, etc. Also, I tend to get hooked on the television or computer once I turn them on. I know its a bad habit, I'm working on it. Most of the time, my weekends are all about my bedroom. Haha! Believe me, sometimes I sleep my saturdays off. At times I also go out with my friends or sisters.

Well this weekend means plenty of relaxtion time for me.I recently just got this book from the library so I was planning on reading it.The weekend is at an end now so I hope I can get a good chunk of it read. I also have to constantly check up on my ebay listing which ends today.

I love the weekends and wait for them during the all week. For me it means some rest and time for relax. I don't make special plans, just decide what to do on the same day. If somebody calls to get out together ,I spent the most of the day outside. In other case I just spent the weekend at home,watching television and lazing on the sofa. It is kind of relaxing to do nothing.

Weekend is being lazy for me. I meant, I already work all week. I could only rest during weekend. So whenever weekend arrived, I just want to stay at home, watch television, do nothing in particular or go out just for sake of shopping, which is like a therapy (even window shopping)

Weekends are family bonding time for us. I prefer to stay at home and spend my time with my son. We do some arts like painting, coloring or writing. Play with board games like snakes and ladders. Read his books. Sometimes, when my husband brings home his laptop, we play computer games. We also sometimes watch cartoons together. Most of my time is spent on my son since we hardly devote enough time for him on work days. When I am not busy with my son, what I do for myself on a weekend at home is reading romantic novels in bed. I also catch up on sleep on weekends.

For me weekend means 2 days free from school :D and i can do what i wat whole day :D

For me, the weekends mean that I get to sleep in, not go to work and I can do more with my family. This weekend Im just relaxing around the house

For me it means better food, a late rising and do things leisurely. I love to do things according to my choice because every one is home and we can plan our own programs for outings. Overall that is one good way to to spend time together with other family members.
