Hello ,everyone here.Glad to come here to talk about something about charity. Recently, I have been doing some research on Charity in China with my friends.(yeah,we are college students) We found that different country has different charity pattens and ways. For instance, the United States are doing well.Big people like Bill Gates like to do charity things ,ordionary peole like to donate to their church. But things in my hometown is quite different. We wanna know your opinions,my friends. Could please tell us something about charity in your country? Or could please tell us your advice or opinions here? Many thanks!

Our Church Administration doing charity alone. with the onslaught of typhoon Ondoy (international codename : Ketsana) and Pepeng (Parma) in the Philippines, our church has given much-needed support to the victims through its relief operations. Hundred s of thousands of relief packs have been distributed to calamity victims. Still, such an outpour of support from the Church and its members around the world shows no sign of petering out anytime soon. One member of Church Administration assured "as long as our help is needed by our fellowmen in these times of calamity, the Church shall continue to lend a helping hand" The Head of the Church ordered that relief operations be conducted in all the affected areas. The two recent typhoon by far have been the most devastating ones to hit the country, claiming hundreds of lives, rendering thousands homeless and destroying billions worth of properties in an instant. Medical missions are also being conducted alongside the distribution of relief goods. Christian doctors, nurses, and other medical practitioners volunteered their services, conducting free consultations and giving out complimentary medicines and food supplements to the needy. Of late, the relief Operations caravan from the Church has also gone to the different Provinces. This is aside from the relief operation conducted separately by the ecclesiastical districts.

Thank you ,my friend.I must say that I am impressed by your reply. Forgive me that I do not know much about your religion but I do apprecaite your spirit. In China we do not have so many churches as you do and most of us do not even go to any church. But, one thing that I believe we all agree that, we really need to help someone who is in need. Even we do charity things from different reasons but we really do want to do the right things and make a change. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with me,my dear friend! Take care!
