After all the posts, the rants and the raves.. everyday, or maybe at least once a week, we all come to mylot to post our opinions, share our days, share our rants and our raves on a regular basis.. we might already have thought of mylot as a “friend” right? The one that always listen to us.. accepts whatever it is that we think… accepts us for who we are and never declines us (always lets us log in to it)…
How much does mylot know about you? Guess almost all of our moods, mylot has witnessed it! Hehe I guess, for me it has too.. it sure knows me.. and when I log in.. what I say and what topics I like…

Hi Chiyosan,
This is a really good discussion. I used to always wonder thinking if at least 2 people in Mylot will recognize me seeing any of my discussions. I have also been part of Mylot since few years. Though not very active!
And, a friend in Mylot doesn't seem to be as good as any other online pal though have! Sadly at least, I couldn't find one such friend through Mylot!

I suppose that we are supposed to lie and say everything is fine when it is not, and say that this belief is good when it is not to agree with everyone -etc. that is what is wrong with the other sites, they make so many rules that says be nice, agree with everyone, etc. And that can be that if I love dogs more then cats, I am supposed to say that I love cats. As for other information, no one here who comes from a small village or a small town is actually going to list his town or village on the profile page.
I do not people to be afraid to address what bothers them, because one of the reasons I was silent about what bothered me before here was that I felt no one else had this problem, and no one else understood.
So even though I am keeping quiet as to the street I live on, plus my address and my phone number, I will still share my joys and my disappointments here.

quite true. posting and responding to topics may share some information about you. unfortunately though, some people may see this as a hunting ground. so, be careful not to open much about yourself in public sites.
i keep in mind that some people may be watching (it's not that i have so much to protect, but you never know), so i try to limit posting things that maybe too personal.

The real question is are the people in charge actually paying attention to what is said, or is it just us little people here who pick and choose who we want to follow, respond to, keep in contact with, and add as a friend? I'm new here so I'm really not too sure about anything yet including the people i'm responding to but you sure sound spunky to me;)

myLot as an organisation will not be interested in knowing myLotters individually but the users will surely get to know each other through the various interactions. I do have opinions of some here and am a bit closer to a few, exchanging PMs and even emails.
