People who don't have money is miserable, but money is sometimes root of all evil as we knew of a famous saying... well then, it's just the balancing of the thing is the best we can do. I always heard of a family whose life is miserable due to wealth, they never have the time to communicate to their children and to their parents or vice versa. but its all well and done, for the purpose of gaining wealth is still for family's concern. And then if asked why, the answer is always for the FAMILY.

Majority of people nowadays really strive hard to acquire and /or find money to sustain and support the family they have or planning to have. the barometer of a person today is based on how much money or wealth he acquires. There are lot of consequences befall on him in search for money and wealth. He may leave his family and gone to faraway places for that elusive search. Accidents, calamaties and illness also happens to him and his love ones in his long journey of finding wealth as what we have heard to news broadcast around the world today. Yet despite all these things, people still continue to look for money and wealth and there are some who even forget the Lord , our god the creator of all things. We should always remember God first, our family, next. God bless us all.

hi dab,
As a saying goes, money is the root of all evil... yes it sometimes does, there are instances we forget our Creator because of money. In the Bible, it is said, "you can't serve two masters at a time" but we are humans we have to work to earn a living. we can't blame the rich and famous of having a lot of wealth because they work for it, and they also deserve the rewards of working hard. working away from home or abroad is also one way of meeting ends, from education down to the very little need we have, that's why sometimes, it will cause disaster to one's family, its another story then. but not all of them, i know majority love their family so much.

That's right, it is always about FAMILY. Because our family is the center of our life. We tend to do things to help our family esp in terms of financial support. Not all people do the same thing, but most people do. Because of our love to our family we try to provide evrything for them not to suffer,

hello Martin,
yes, that's why we are working hard for the money, just like me, we are not rich and can't make even to the meager earner but my parents strive hard to send us to school so we may not suffer what we have had experienced the hardship in life.

Yes, there seems to be a balance that needs to be found. Parents are certainly responsible for providing for their children, but they must be responsible, also, for being present in the lives of their children. I believe that parents are responsible not only for meeting the material needs of their children, but also meeting emotional needs. This involves daily communication, and participating in a variety of activities together as a family.
I think our expectations are too high concerning how much money we "need". Sometimes it is more beneficial to lead a simple life and be content with fewer possession.

Dear John,
Hello, thank you for your insights about my topic, yes its true , there should be balance regarding money and finances around the family. Parents will be responsible in rearing their children with the concept on how to go about our income in the same manner as how children spend it wisely.
